摘要： The invention is a distribution block assembly that contains replaceable sleeves and pistons that are suitable for use at high fluid pressures. The conventional distribution block assembly can be altered to include end plugs and these replaceable sleeves having designated precise quantity of lubricant distribution so that the user can alter the distribution levels by changing the replaceable piston/sleeves and allowing for users to fix excessively worn pistons without having to dissemble the entire distribution block. The use of these piston/sleeve assemblies transforming conventional distribution blocks making them more versatile and reducing the costly expense of manually replacing of the entire distribution block.

摘要： A system and method for transmission electron microscopy is provided. The sample can be examined from multiple directions using an electron beam in a transmission electron microscope. The sample has at least three observation faces that are not parallel to each other with the thickness of the sample orthogonal to each of the observation faces being less than 200 nm. The sample is mounted on a needle that is needle rotatable about more than one axis so the needle can orient at least three of the observation faces to be normal to the electron beam of the electron microscope for observation.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for analyzing the output signal of a silicon drift detector (SDD). A SDD is used for detecting X-rays emitted by a sample as a result of impinging radiation.The signal of a SDD comprises a number of randomly spaced steps, in which the step height is a function of the energy of the detected X-ray photon.The variance in step height is a function of the averaging time that can be used to determine the plateau between steps: averaging over a short interval results in more uncertainty of the plateau value than a long interval. By according a weight factor, a function of the variance such that a step with low variance (high reliability) is associated with a larger weight factor than a step with high variance (low reliability), measurement values with a low variance are emphasized. This results in better resolved spectra.

If there is no default language associated with the phone number being called, the caller can be asked for a language, or a default language can be used.
