摘要: First of all, size data (MD), (BD), (BH) and (MW) of a tire are input. Next, a ratio (b/a) of a major axis radius (b) to a minor axis radius (a) of an ellipse (18) is input. Then, constants (S), (a) and (b) of an involute function are calculated. Based on the involute function having these constants, a profile function (22) from a central position in a lateral direction to a maximum width position is determined over an X-Y plane. Subsequently, the profile curve (22) is divided into a large number of segments. Next, each of the segments is caused to approximate to a circular arc. In the approximation, a radius of curvature is determined in such a manner that the adjacent circular arcs are tangent to each other. Thus, a profile is designed.

摘要: A deep channel type of radial ball bearing having a retainer. The bearing has an outer ring and an inner ring. Running channels are formed on the mutually opposing orbiting surfaces of the outer ring and inner ring. A specified number of balls are fit into the running channels. The retainer having pockets is placed between the outer ring and the inner ring. Each ball is captured in one of the pockets. A ball contact surface is formed on the inner surface of each edge on the opening side of the pockets. A curved ridge line forms the boundary between the inner surface of the pocket and the contact surface. This curved ridge line that forms the boundary is substantially parallel to the direction of rotation of the balls. A channel is formed at the bottom surface of the pocket. The channel extends from the inner perimeter to the outer perimeter of the retainer. The lubricating oil on the bottom surface of the pocket flows through the channel by virtue of the rolling of the balls and is guided to the outer perimeter side. A triangle-shaped fin having an inclined surface is integrally formed between the adjacent pockets on the outer perimeter surface. The inclined surface is formed on the trailing side of pocket with respect to the retainer direction of rotation. Lubricating oil directed from the above-described channel to the outer perimeter surface by the rolling of the ball is received at the inclined surface of the fin and is supplied to the vicinity of the leading edge of the pocket that is located behind the fin by the rotation of the retainer.

摘要: A film supply apparatus is provided wherein one film is held in a waiting position while a first film is being processed and the waiting film is automatically processed after the processing of the first film has been completed. The apparatus comprises a film holding supply mechanism with a film nip section that nips the film at a film waiting position, a film moving mechanism for moving the film from the film waiting position to a film supply position and a driving mechanism for nipping and transferring the film between it and the film moving mechanism. The film moving mechanism is configured to return to the film waiting position after a predetermined portion of the first film has been transferred and wherein after the film moving mechanism has returned to the film waiting position, the next film can be nipped using the film nip section at the film waiting position.

摘要: An automatic film development apparatus includes a cartridge case for carrying a group of film cartridges loaded with undeveloped films. A feeder unit stores a plurality of the cartridge cases and delivering them one by one to an unloading station for unloading sheets of undeveloped film from respective film cartridges in the cartridge case. The undeveloped film sheet is rewound at a rewinding station into a takeup cartridge. A splicer unit joins one end of the undeveloped film sheet from the takeup cartridge to a short film leader supplied from a film leader supply unit for feeding short film leaders one at the time. A development unit developes the undeveloped film sheet joined to the short film leader. A separator unit separates a developed film sheet from the short film leader. The developed film sheet separated from the short film leader is loaded at a loading station back into its film cartridge. A conveying means conveys the cartridge case filled with film cartridges unloaded of film from the unloading station to the loading station. A leader receiver unit collects short film leaders separated from respective developed film sheets.

摘要: There is a splicer bed 1 having a leader support 3 arranged on the top thereof. One opening 6 is provided in one end of the leader support 3. A knife mounting base 7 is arranged to project from the opening 6 and provided at one end with a cartridge holder 8. The knife mounting base 7 also has a leader positioning head 10 provided on the other end thereof for determining the position of a leader L. A stationary knife 11 is mounted to the leader positioning head 10. A movable knife 12 is mounted for pivotal movement to the stationary knife 11. A film holddown plate 17 is pivotably mounted to the knife mounting base 7. The knife mounting base 7 is also provided with a pair of punches 28 which are arranged slidable and can be lowered by the film holddown plate 17. In action, before the leading portion of a film F drawn out from a film cartridge P loaded in the cartridge holder 8 is held under the film holddown plate 17, the downward movement of the film holddown plate 17 causes the punches 28 to cut two notches in both side edges of the film F. The leading portion of the film F is trimmed by the downward action of the movable knife 12 and then joined by a strip of splicing tape to the leader L placed on the leader support 3.
