The light detector detects the laser light emitted from the light source. The scanning section scans the laser light. The current controlling section controls laser light by supplying a current supplied to the light source. The storage section is configured to store a reference current value, a reference light output value, and a gamma table. The reference current section supplies the reference current value to the current controlling section. The sweep section sweeps current values supplied to the current controlling section to obtain one current value where the detected laser light corresponds to the reference light output value. The change section changes the gamma table based on the one current value obtained by the sweep section.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a data processing apparatus has a magazine, an optical disc drive, a transport mechanism, and an inner shell. The magazine stores a plurality of optical discs. The optical disc drive has an insertion portion to be closed with a tray for holding an optical disc. The transport mechanism transports the optical disc between the magazine and the optical disc drive. The inner shell includes a mounting portion for holding the magazine and a seal mechanism for closing a path communicating exterior and interior. The inner shell isolates at least the loading slot, the insertion portion and the transport mechanism from the exterior while the magazine is inserted in the mounting portion.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a disk drive is provided which corrects already existing offset information according to a variation of a disk runout amount caused by an occurrence of a disk shift. The disk drive effects a head position adjustment at a head positioning control time with the use of offset information stored in a memory. A CPU measures a variation in the disk runout amount and phase caused by an occurrence of a disk shift resulting from an external shock involved and updates the existing offset information with a correction offset information based on a result of measurement.
