摘要: A semiconductor physical quantity sensor includes a substrate, a beam-structure movable portion and a fixed portion. The beam-structure movable portion is suspended by four anchors formed of polycrystalline films. A rectangular mass is suspended between beams. Movable electrodes project from both sides of the mass. First fixed electrodes and second fixed electrodes are fixedly provided on the surface of the substrate. The substrate has a laminated structure, wherein an oxide film, attaching film, insulating films, conductive film and insulating film are laminated on the substrate. An anchor formed from the conductive film is electrically connected to the attaching film. An electrode pad made of an aluminum film is provided the above the anchor. Because this structure enables the potential of the attaching film to be fixed, parasitic capacitance can be decreased.

摘要: It is made possible to prevent decrease in the density due to the image output characteristic of the image output unit in the subscanning direction by means of a method according to the present invention capable of real-time processing without causing the circuit capacity and the memory to be increased. In an image input unit 100, the input image data is acquired so that its time series direction becomes a direction indicated by an arrow 42 corresponding to the subscanning direction of an image output unit 300. The input image data from the image input unit 100 is corrected in accordance with the image output characteristic of the image output unit 300 in the subscanning direction. The image data after the correction is rotationally processed so that its time series direction becomes a direction indicated by an arrow 41 corresponding to the main scanning direction of the image output unit 300. The image data after the rotary processing is sent to the image output unit 300.

摘要: To prevent the density of a low density part when an output image varies from the low density part to a high density part in a vertical scanning direction from being lowered without expanding an image forming apparatus or an image output device and increasing the cost, an image processing section first extracts an edge picture element of the low density part which is in contact with the high density part when an image output based upon input image data Si varies from the low density part to the high density part in the vertical scanning direction or from the high density part to the low density part in the vertical scanning direction. Next, the image processing section reads the number a of picture elements to be corrected and pixel value corrected quantity b from a look-up table based upon the low density part pixel value L and the high density part pixel value L before and after the edge picture element, corrects the pixel value of the input image data Si and sends the corrected output image data So to an image output section.

摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling a power transmitting system for an automotive vehicle, including a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and an auxiliary transmission which is connected to the CVT and which is automatically shifted from one of two or more forward drive positions to the other depending upon operating conditions of the vehicle. To control the speed ratio of the CVT, a target speed of the input shaft of the CVT is determined according to one of different relationships between the target speed and at least one variable such as a currently required output of the engine. The relationships are stored in memory, corresponding to the forward drive positions of the auxiliary transmission. The appropriate relationship is selected depending upon the forward drive position in which the auxiliary transmission is currently placed while the transmission shift lever is in an auto-shift or engine-brake position. The automatic shift-down and shift-up operations of the auxiliary transmission may be effected according to predetermined shift patterns corresponding to drivability modes of the vehicle selected on a suitable drivability selector device.

摘要: A method of forming a gate insulating film on a MOSFET. After a SiO.sub.2 film is formed by thermal oxidation as a gate insulating film on a MOSFET, the SiO.sub.2 film is removed by selective etching from the surface area other than MOSFET region, and an oxygen doped semi-insulating polycrystalline silicon film is deposited thereon. Then, a silicon nitride layer is deposited and a SiO.sub.2 film is formed by CVD method on the surface area other than the MOSFET region.

摘要: The peripheral portion of a flat, molecularly orientable material stock of substantially uniform thickness having a temperature below the upper limit of the molecularly orientable temperatures of the plastic material is clamped, and the central portion of the plastic material stock is introduced into a die cavity while compressing the central portion with an upper plunger and a lower plunger, thereby forming a hollow preform having a sidewall portion made from the plastic material which has been forced out from between the upper plunger and the lower plunger, while the sidewall portion is kept in contact with the side surface of the upper plunger kept at about molecularly orientable temperature. Thereafter, while the upper plunger is returning, a fluid under pressure is supplied into the hollow preform to expand radially the sidewall portion, so that the sidewall portion is brought into contact with the inner surface of the die cavity kept at a temperature below the lower limit of the molecularly orientable temperatures for cooling and solidifying. Thus, the sidewall portion of a plastic hollow article is formed from the sidewall portion of the hollow preform, and a plastic hollow article having a flange portion, the sidewall portion which is molecularly oriented, and a bottom wall portion is made.
