摘要: An embodiment of induction system for internal combustion engines that permit maximum power output while at the same time insuring good running at low speeds without loss in mid-range torque. Independent intake passages communicate with each chamber of the engine. A throttle valve arrangement is included that includes a first manually operated throttle valve positioned in a common portion of the intake passages, a second manually operated throttle valve that is positioned in the first intake passage between the first throttle valve and the chamber, and a third throttle valve positioned in the second intake passage between the first throttle valve and the chamber. A linkage system interconnects the first and second throttle valves so that the second throttle valve is opened at a predetermined degree of opening of the first throttle valve. The linkage causes the second throttle valve to be moved to its fully opened positioned before the first throttle valve is fully opened. The third throttle valve is automatically positioned in response either to atmospheric pressure to hold the third throttle valve in one position or induction system pressure to hold the third throttle valve in its other position.

摘要: A lateral semiconductor device includes a semiconductor layer, an insulating layer, and a resistive field plate. The semiconductor layer includes a first semiconductor region and a second semiconductor region at a surface portion, and the second semiconductor region makes a circuit around the first semiconductor region. The insulating layer is formed on a surface of the semiconductor layer and is disposed between the first and second semiconductor regions. The resistive field plate is formed on a surface of the insulating layer. Between the first and second semiconductor regions, a first section and a second section are adjacent to each other along a circumferential direction around the first semiconductor region. The resistive field plate includes first and second resistive field plate sections respectively formed in the first and second sections, and the first and second resistive field plate sections are separated from each other.

摘要: A method, an apparatus and a program for detecting spoofed Internet Protocol (IP) traffic directed to a network having a plurality of autonomous systems (AS) is provided. The method comprises receiving an incoming packet through an AS, the incoming packet containing a source IP address and a destination IP address, acquiring a corresponding source and destination IP address prefixes, converting the corresponding source and destination IP address prefixes into a source AS number and a destination AS number, determining if the incoming packet arrived from an unexpected source based upon the corresponding destination IP address prefix and the converted source and destination AS number using an unexpected pair tuple table generated from network routing information and generating an alert indicating that the incoming packet is not allowed to enter the network.

摘要: An image capture device includes a viewfinder for viewing a subject. The viewfinder either forms an integral part of the device or is an external member that is attachable to, and removable from, the device. The device includes: an optical system; a generating section for capturing an image of the subject through the optical system and generating image data; a detecting section for detecting the degree of focusing of the subject's image represented by the image data; a display section on which the subject's image is presentable based on the image data; and a controller for accepting a decision to use either the display section or the viewfinder for viewing the subject to shoot. If the controller accepts the decision to use the viewfinder, the display section displays no subject's image, and displays information about the degree of focusing of the subject's image for at least a certain period of time. The information has been obtained based on a result of detection done by the detecting section.
