Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatus, system and method of communicating a transmission encoded according to a Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code. For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a wireless station to encode a plurality of data bits into a plurality of codewords according to an LDPC code having an encoding rate of 7/8 and a codeword length of 1248 bits; and to transmit a transmission over a millimeter Wave (mmWave) frequency band based on the plurality of codewords.

Abstract: Communication signals using a first and a second frequency band in a wireless network is described herein. The first frequency band may be associated with a first beamwidth while the second frequency band may be associated with a second beamwidth. An apparatus may include receiver circuitry arranged to receive first signals in a first frequency band associated with a first beamwidth and second signals in a second frequency band associated with a second beamwidth, the first signals comprising a frame synchronization parameter and the second signals comprising frame alignment signals. The apparatus may further include processor circuitry coupled to the receiver circuitry, the processor circuitry arranged to activate or deactivate the receiver circuitry to receive the frame alignment signals based on the frame synchronization parameter. Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to analog beamforming for Wi-Fi devices. A device may determine a first analog direction associated with a first antenna of one or more antennas, using an RF chain. The device may determine a second analog direction associated with a second antenna of the one or more antennas, using the RF chain. The device may cause to send a first frame of one or more frames to a responder device using the first analog direction. The device may cause to send a second frame of the one or more frames to the responder device using the second analog direction. The device may identify one or more response frames received from the responder device, wherein at least one of the one or more response frames comprises an indication of an identified transmit direction.

Abstract: Technology for adjusting a receiver timing of a wireless device in a Coordinated MultiPoint (CoMP) system is disclosed. One method can include the wireless device receiving a plurality of node specific reference signals (RSs) from a plurality of cooperating nodes in a coordination set of the CoMP system. The coordination set includes at least two cooperating nodes. The wireless device can estimate a composite received RS timing from a plurality of received RS timings generated from the plurality of node specific RSs. The received RS timings represent timings from the at least two cooperating nodes. The wireless device can adjust the receiver timing based on the composite received RS timing. A node specific RS can include a channel-state information reference signal (CSI-RS).

Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, apparatus, and systems to increase the transmission data rate in wireless networks, for example, by using one or more Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and/or channel bonding techniques. In one embodiment, the disclosure describes the use of Golay Sequence Sets (GSS) to define guard intervals (GIs) for single carrier (SC) single channel bonding and multiple input multiple output (MIMO) transmission. In various embodiments, the disclosure describes the design of guard interval sequence for 3 types of guard intervals having lengths that can be classified as short, medium, and long. In another embodiment, the disclosure defines the guard interval for single channel transmission channel bonding and for MIMO transmission.
