摘要: The invention is directed to composite material comprising a base material comprising at least one first binder and at least one particulate first filler fraction based on inorganic or organic, natural or synthetic material, and a coating layer which at least partially covers the base material, wherein the coating layer comprises at least one second binder and at least one particulate second filler fraction of a particularized mean size, wherein the second filler fraction comprises particles having a particularized mineral hardness, wherein the second filler fraction comprises particles selected from a group comprising a wide variety of materials and/or mixtures thereof. 摘要: A single use invertible elastomeric article with at least two polymeric layers. Each polymer in the two polymeric layers is a single, pure polymer and are different from each other, such that the single polymer of the first layer is not the same as the single polymer of the second layer. The first layer can comprise acrylonitrile butadiene and the second layer can comprise polychloroprene in an embodiment. The first layer is directly bonded to the second layer with a primer coating between the layers comprising a cationic polymer. There is a method of manufacturing the invertible elastomeric article comprising the steps of coating a former with a coagulant; applying a first polymeric coating of a single polymer; coating the first polymeric coating with a primer; and applying a second polymeric coating; the second polymeric coating comprises a single polymer different from the single polymer of the first polymeric coating.

摘要: A method of forming an implant includes providing a preformed shell formed from at least one cured elastomeric layer. The preformed shell includes an outer surface, an inner surface, and an opening for accessing an interior volume of the preformed shell. The method further includes expanding the preformed shell to an expanded state, in which the interior volume is greater than the interior volume of the preformed shell at a time of forming the preformed shell and forming an inner zone having at least one inner elastomeric layer on at least a portion of the inner surface of the preformed shell, while the shell is in the expanded state, thereby forming a multi-zone shell. The method further includes reducing the interior volume of the multi-zone shell, thereby contracting the at least one inner elastomeric layer of the inner zone and causing texturing of the at least one inner elastomeric layer.

摘要: A method is provided for making footwear utilizing a spray-on material. The method can include spraying a spray-on fabric onto surfaces of a three dimensional last. The last can be produced using additive manufacturing techniques, such as 3D printing, based on data corresponding to dimensions and contours of a consumer's foot, and/or preselected aesthetic footwear designs. The spray-on fabric is sprayed onto the surfaces of the last and allowed to cure to form a flexible, non-woven fabric upper. The upper can be removed from the last and turned inside out. With the upper turned inside out, a sole can be joined to the fabric upper to form the footwear.
