摘要: Provided are a method and a device for generating a virtual bearer in a wireless communication system. A mobility management entity (MME) acquires context information for a packet data network (PDN) connection generated through a Wi-Fi network, and generates a virtual bearer in a cellular network on the basis of the acquired context information. The virtual bearer may be generated by various methods according to whether a PDN connection mapped to the PDN connection generated through the Wi-Fi network exists in the cellular network and whether a default bearer exists in the cellular network.

摘要: A mobile application tracks a user's behavior and activities and, in particular, a geo-location. The mobile application may then produce a profile of the user's behaviors and locations. This may be used to optimize mobile device power and may also be used as a data aggregator to collect and gather user information for other purposes, such as data marketing and modeling. In an embodiment, the mobile application is continuously monitoring the mobile device's battery level and power usage and determining the most power-efficient approach for tracking the device's location. One-hundred percent location accuracy is not always required when profiling a user's behavior. It may be more critical to simply determine the general location of the device and the associated user. The application may continuously function in the background while expending the least amount of power possible.

摘要: A high-frequency signal processing apparatus and a wireless communication apparatus can achieve a decrease in power consumption. For example, when an indicated power level to a high-frequency power amplifier is equal to or greater than a second reference value, envelope tracking is performed by causing a source voltage control circuit to control a high-speed DCDC converter using a detection result of an envelope detecting circuit and causing a bias control circuit to indicate a fixed bias value. The source voltage control circuit and the bias control circuit indicate a source voltage and a bias value decreasing in proportion to a decrease in the indicated power level when the indicated power level is in a range of the second reference value to the first reference value, and indicate a fixed source voltage and a fixed bias value when the indicated power level is less than the first reference value.

Discarded sensor information is reconstructed at a receiver based on received sensor information and utilizing information correlation.

摘要: Mobile computing device power consumption can be reduced by using expiration window timers, state-based timers and/or the coordination of keep-alive timers. A mobile computing device can execute tasks associated with multiple keep-alive timers used for maintaining communication links between the device and cloud-based service providers in a single active state. A cloud-based keep-alive service can maintain mobile computing device-service provider communication links by sending one keep-alive communication to a mobile computing device in place of multiple communications. Upon receiving a response, the keep-alive surface can send a plurality of keep-alive communications to a plurality of cloud-based service providers.

The collection unit also collects the identification information on its own terminal apparatus and the remaining amount information on the remaining amount of battery of the own terminal apparatus. A selector selects a single terminal apparatus, based on the remaining amount information collected. When the selector selects the own terminal apparatus, the positional information on the own terminal is acquired and the acquired positional information and the identification information collected by the collection unit are transmitted by the first communication unit to the base station apparatus.

摘要: A near field communications (NFC) device is disclosed that intelligently routes NFC data from a NFC device between multiple user interfaces based upon a power level of its internal batteries. The communications device utilizes a communications device user interface to send and/or receive the NFC data from the NFC device when its internal batteries are sufficient to operate the communications device user interface. The communications device begins to route some of this NFC data from being sent and/or received by the communications device user interface to a NFC user interface as its internal batteries deplete. Eventually, all of the NFC data will be sent to and/or received by the NFC user interface as the internal batteries of the communications device become so depleted that they are unable to reliably operate the communications device user interface.
