摘要: An exhaust gas purification material according to the present invention is provided with a particulate filter 10 that traps particulate matter in exhaust gas and contains an SCR catalyst for adsorbing ammonia and reducing NOx in the exhaust gas. A maximum allowable adsorption amount of ammonia adsorbable by the filter 10 differs between an upstream portion 10a of the filter 10 including an exhaust gas inlet-side end 10c, and a downstream portion 10b of the filter 10 including an exhaust gas outlet-side end 10d. The SCR catalyst contained in the upstream portion 10a and the SCR catalyst contained in the downstream portion 10b are qualitatively different. A ratio (B/A) of a maximum allowable adsorption amount of ammonia A in the upstream portion 10a and a maximum allowable adsorption amount of ammonia B in the downstream portion 10b satisfies the relationship 1.1≤(B/A)≤2.

摘要: A catalytic article having a flow-through substrate having an inlet, an outlet, and an axial length; an SCR zone containing a first SCR catalyst; and an oxidation zone containing (a) an ASC zone and a DOC zone or (b) a mixed ASC and DOC zone, where the oxidation zone contains an ammonia oxidation catalyst and a DOC catalyst, the SCR zone is positioned on the substrate from the inlet end and extends less than the axial length of the substrate from the inlet, the DOC zone or the mixed ASC and DOC zone is position on the substrate from the outlet end, and when the DOC zone is present, the ASC zone is located between the SCR zone and the DOC zone. In other catalytic articles, the ASC zone further comprises a DEC catalyst. Methods of using the catalytic articles in an SCR process, where the amount of ammonia slip is reduced, are also described.

摘要: A chemical heat storage device includes a reactor which has a heat storage material which generates heat by a chemical reaction with a reactive medium and desorbs the reactive medium by heat absorption, and a receptacle which houses the heat storage material therein; a reservoir which stores the reactive medium; a connecting pipe through which the reactor and the reservoir communicate with each other and the reactive medium is allowed to flow between the reactor and the reservoir, wherein the reactive medium is ammonia, the receptacle is made of a metallic material (for example, stainless steel), and at least a portion of an inner surface of the receptacle which comes into contact with the ammonia is formed with a nickel layer containing 90% nickel by mass or more.

摘要: Catalysts having a blend of platinum on a support with low ammonia storage with a Cu-SCR catalyst or an Fe-SCR catalyst are disclosed. The catalysts can also contain one or two additional SCR catalysts. The catalysts can be present in one of various configurations. Catalytic articles containing these catalysts are disclosed. The catalytic articles are useful for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx in exhaust gases and in reducing the amount of ammonia slip. Methods for producing such articles are described. Methods of using the catalytic articles in an SCR process, where the amount of ammonia slip is reduced, are also described.

摘要: An exhaust system includes a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) device mounted to an exhaust pipe for exhausting an exhaust gas of an engine and purifying hydrocarbon (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) among the exhaust gas, an urea injector positioned at a rear of the diesel oxidation catalyst device for injecting an urea aqueous solution to an inside of the exhaust pipe, a mixer positioned at the rear of the urea injector, a diesel particulate matter filter (DPF) positioned at the rear of the mixer and coated with a catalyst devoid of a noble metal or a hydrolysis catalyst that does not oxidize ammonia and hydrolyzes the injected urea to reduce a particulate material of the exhaust gas, and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) device positioned at the rear of the diesel particulate matter filter.

摘要: In an exhaust gas purification apparatus provided in an exhaust as path of an engine, it is an object of the present invention to shorten a pipe length of a bypass path bypassing a purification catalyst as short as possible, thereby reducing initial costs. The exhaust gas purification apparatus includes a purification casing in which at least the purification catalyst is accommodated. The purification catalyst purifies exhaust gas from the engine. The purification casing is integrally provided with the bypass path separately from the purification path in which the purification catalyst exists. The bypass path makes the exhaust gas bypasses the purification catalyst without passing through the purification catalyst.
