    摘要: A car engine air-intake unit has a round main body. The main body has airflow guides and airflow guiding plates to guide air flowing into the intake tube to rotate, and blades are provided which protrude out of the main body and extend from the airflow guiding plates to increase the rotating angle and stroke of the guided air flow. The intake unit can be used in cooperation with any of various specific air-intake tubes, and can be assembled and adjusted to support different air intake amounts and any of various air-intake tubes of different bores, and thus offers convenience of use.

    摘要: Biasing unit, a spindle member, and a link mechanism of a windmill for a wind power generator vary an angle of a blade in a first stage where the angle is made nearly parallel to the wind so that the blade easily rotates in light winds, a second stage where the angle is made nearly perpendicular to the wind so that the blade easily rotates at high speed when the wind speed increases, and a third stage where the blade is pushed back from the state of being nearly perpendicular to the wind to the state of being nearly parallel to the wind so as to prevent the excessive rotation in strong winds, without electrical control being not required. Accordingly this wind power generator has an excellent starting performance and can control the excessive rotation at low cost.

    摘要: A torque estimator is disclosed for estimating torque on a machine. A computer system may include a torque estimator module located on the machine. The torque estimator module may be configured to receive a plurality of engine parameters, receive a drivetrain component parameter, determine an estimated torque value at the drivetrain component based on the plurality of engine parameters and the drivetrain component parameter. The computer system also may include an analysis module located on the machine. The analysis module may be configured to receive the estimated torque value and the drivetrain component parameter, and update a histogram data structure based on the estimated torque value and the drivetrain component parameter. The analysis module may also be configured to evaluate the histogram data structure in order to determine if excessive torque is being applied to a drivetrain component.

    摘要: A method of output torque smoothing for a hybrid powertrain having an electric machine and a spark ignition engine with a first cylinder and a second cylinder includes commanding a fuel-cut transition, including consecutively initiating and completing deactivation of the first cylinder and initiating and completing deactivation of the second cylinder. The fuel-cut transition is characterized by an absence of retarding spark to the first cylinder and second cylinder. Fuel is supplied to the first cylinder until the first cylinder completes deactivation and to the second cylinder until the second cylinder completes deactivation. The electric machine captures a first torque from the first cylinder by generating electricity until the first cylinder completes deactivation and captures a second torque from the second cylinder by generating electricity until the second cylinder completes deactivation.

    摘要: A module, direct fuel injector (10) includes a fuel side sub-assembly (78) having valve body structure (12, 14) defining a main flow passage (16) there-through, an outlet opening (26) and a seating surface (24). A needle (18) is in the main flow passage and has first and second ends. The second end (22) has a sealing surface (20). The needle is movable between a closed position with the sealing surface engaging the seating surface to prevent fuel from passing through the outlet opening, and an open position. A spring (30) biases the needle to the closed position. Manifold structure (36, 48) is coupled to the valve body structure. The injector also includes a dry side sub-assembly including a piezo stack (42) coupled to the manifold structure and changes length when voltage is applied thereto. The piezo stack is associated with the first end of the needle so that when the length of the piezo stack changes, the needle moves from the closed position to the open position thereof.
