A rollover protection device for the passengers of a vehicle having a body and a lateral bulkhead includes a structural unit adapted to be mounted on one side of the vehicle body lateral bulkhead. The structural unit includes at least one extendible rollover bar, and a module beam being connectable in a force transmitting fashion with the lateral bulkhead and the vehicle body. The module beam extends crosswise to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in an upper region of the lateral bulkhead, and at least one force transmission member contains the at least one rollover bar. The at least one force transmission member supports the module beam at the vehicle body bottom.

A device for plasma treatment of workpieces. The workpiece is placed into a chamber of a processing station that can be at least partially evacuated. The plasma chamber is bounded by a chamber floor, a chamber cover, and a side chamber wall. The plasma chamber is coupled to a device for feeding and/or discharging process gases in a controlled manner. The plasma chamber is further disposed on a rotatable plasma wheel supported on a static base. At least one process gas channel is disposed in the region of the base, bounded at least in regions by a cover. The cover is implemented as part of the plasma wheel and includes at least one connection opening to the process gas channel. The connection opening can be coupled to an inner chamber by a connecting channel and at least one control valve.

A rollbar for an open sports car which extends over the width of the vehicle, having a basic shell body which follows the rollbar shape and consists of molded two-dimensional material with longitudinal ribbings which are alternately raised toward the exterior and interior side of the rollbar. The rollbar shell is integrally formed from a pressed molding of fibrous composite plastic or metallic material and can include stiffening inserts which extend over at least part of the longitudinal extrusion of the shell. An anti-abrasion material can be integrally connected or embedded into the surface of the shell. The rollbar is light weight, optimally designed for individual types of loads and can be integrated into the car body in an esthetically appearing manner.

The rollover bar is a single shell or multi-shell form part made of fibre reinforced plastic and has shell edge regions which at least partially extend parallel to the extension direction. The cassette housing is a hollow profile made from high strength material and is closed around the rollover bar and the guidance. The guidance is a plastic form part engaging at a shell edge region, is secured within the hollow profile and protrudes from the hollow profile at least downwards.
