The invention relates to a nickel tungsten bulk catalyst, to a process for the manufacture of said catalyst and to the use of said catalyst for the hydrotreatment, in particular the hydrodesulphurisation and hydrodenitrogenation of hydrocarbon feedstock. The catalyst comprises nickel tungsten metal oxidic particles obtainable by a process comprising forming a slurry of a first solid metal compound comprising Group VNI metal nickel and a second solid metal compound comprising Group VIB metal tungsten in a protic liquid, reacting the first and second solid metal compounds at elevated temperature whereby the first and second solid metal compounds remain at least partly in the solid state during the entire reaction to form the nickel tungsten oxidic bulk catalyst.

Nickel-copper catalysts supported on an amorphous silica-alumina acidic carrier, preferably containing a binder, and having an iso-electric point of ≧6.5 are used to hydroisomerize paraffins, particularly Fischer-Tropsch paraffins, boiling at 350° F.+ into lighter, more valuable products.
摘要:
The hydrogenation steps and hydrofinishing steps of the cobalt catalyst oxo process for preparation of the alcohols by the hydroformylation of olefin are carried out using a nickel-molybdenum catalyst on an alumina or silica alumina support which has a phosphorous content of O.1 wt. % to 1.0 wt. % phosphorus.
摘要:
A process for the preparation of catalysts wherein a catalytically effective amount of cobalt is impregnated and dispersed as a film, or layer, on the peripheral outer surface of a particulate porous inorganic oxide support, notably alumina, silica, silica-alumina and titania; particularly titania. The catalysts are prepared by spraying a bed of the fluidized particulate support particles with a liquid containing a dispersed or dissolved cobalt metal compound upon the support particles. The operation is performed at specified operating conditions.
摘要:
Hydrogen is produced by reacting carbon monoxide with steam at a temperature of at least 200.degree.F. in the presence of a supported catalyst containing: (1) at least one alkali metal compound derived from an acid having an ionization constant below 1 .times. 10.sup..sup.-3, (2) a metallic hydrogenation-dehydrogenation material, and (3) a halogen moiety. The ratio of metal component to alkali metal compound, each calculated on the basis of the oxide thereof, ranges from 0.0001 to about 10 parts by weight per part by weight of the alkali metal compound. The halide constituent is present in amounts in excess of about 0.01 weight %, based on total catalyst. A preferred catalyst composition comprises potassium carbonate, a mixture of cobalt and molybdenum oxides and combined chlorine contained on an alumina support.
