摘要: A process for measuring total microbiological content in an aqueous medium includes adding a fluorescent dye to the aqueous medium, measuring the fluorescent signal in the aqueous medium to obtain a baseline fluorescent signal, releasing intracellular content of the microbiological matter into the aqueous medium by lysing the microbiological matter, measuring the fluorescent signal in the aqueous medium with the released intracellular content of the microbiological matter to obtain a second fluorescent signal, subtracting the baseline signal from the second fluorescent signal to obtain a net fluorescent signal and equating the net fluorescent signal with a microbiological content. Methods for measuring biofilm and adjusting for background noise are also provided.

摘要: A method and a system for instantly translating text within an image are provided. The method and the system are suitable for using a service end device to translate text within the image captured by a portable communication device. First, the image is captured by the portable communication device, and then transmitted to the service end device through a communication network. Next, the text within the image is recognized and translated into translation text by the service end device. The translation text is transmitted back to the portable communication device through the communication network and displayed by the portable communication device. Thereby, a user can take an image at any time and get to know what it means immediately.

摘要: This invention discloses a method of protecting copyright of a digital video work by using a digital password technology and a digital watermark technology to prevent the unauthorized use of a digital video work. Such method adds password protection of two chrominance arrays of such video work in advance, so that when such video work is published on the Internet, it can only be played in color by a specified player. As long as a user enters the correct password into the specified player, a full color visual effect of such video work can be obtained. If other players are used to play such video work, only a partial gray-scale visual effect can be obtained. Users must request or buy a specific player and a password from the distributor of such video work to play the complete information to prevent piracy.

Compressor is included as means for collecting and recovering the condensed product from the system. Alternate embodiments including a solar heat input system and other combined configurations.

摘要: The present invention discloses a bismuth hyaluronate, characterized in that the bismuth content is from 0.5% to 40%, and the glucuronate content is from 20% to 45%, based on dry weight. Also provided is a method for the preparation of said bismuth hyaluronate comprising reaction of a soluble hyaluronate salt with a bismuth salt in a basic aqueous solution, followed by steps of precipitation, filtration, desalting, dehydrating and drying to obtain the product. Further disclosed is the use of the bismuth hyaluronate in the manufacture of a medicament or health foods for preventing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, in particular ulcerous disorders of the GI tract. It has been proven in animal experiments to show a better therapeutic effect than products of the same type.

摘要: A method of forming a device is presented. A substrate prepared with an active device region is provided. The active device region includes gate stack layers of a gate stack that includes at least a gate electrode layer over a gate dielectric layer. An implant mask is formed on the substrate with an opening exposing a portion of a top gate stack layers. Ions are implanted through the opening and gate stack layers into the substrate to form a channel well. The substrate is patterned to at least remove portion of a top gate stack layer unprotected by the implant mask.
