    摘要： Ethylene-based copolymers which are suitable as flow improvers for mineral oil middle distillates are composed of a) from 50 to 94% by weight of ethylene, b) from 3 to 30% by weight of one or more vinyl esters of C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -monocarboxylic acids, c) from 3 to 20% by weight of one or more aminoalkyl acrylates of the general formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be identical or different and are each hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl and A.sup.1 is straight-chain or branched C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 -alkylene, and d) from 0 to 10% by weight of one or more monomers which are copolymerizable with the monomers a) to c), copolymers in which monomer b) is vinyl acetate and which have a number average molecular weight of from 5000 to 50,000 being excluded, or are composed of a') from 50 to 95.5% by weight of ethylene, b') from 4 to 30% by weight of one or more vinyl esters of C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -monocarboxylic acids, c') from 0.5 to 20% by weight of one or more vinylimidazoles of the general formula II ##STR2## where R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 may be identical or different and are each hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, or from 0.5 to 20% by weight of one or more aminoalkyl vinyl ethers of the general formula III R.sup.7 R.sup.8 N--A.sup.2 --O--CR.sup.9 .dbd.CR.sup.10 R.sup.11(III) where R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 are each C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, R.sup.9, R.sup.10 and R.sup.11 are each hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl and A.sup.2 is C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkylene, and d') from 0 to 10% by weight of one or more monomers which are copolymerizable with the monomers a') to c').

    摘要： Defoaming and deaerating mixtures based on oil-in-water emulsions where the oil phase comprises from 5 to 75% by weight of the emulsion for aqueous media prone to foaming, wherein the oil phase comprises a) at least one alcohol having at least 12 carbon atoms, distillation residues obtainable in the course of the production of alcohols having a higher carbon number by the oxo process or by the Ziegler process, or mixtures thereof, b) at least one ester of a sugar alcohol having at least 4 OH groups or at least 2 OH groups and at least one intramolecular ether bond and a fatty acid having at least 20 carbon atoms in a molar ratio of 1:at least 1, in which case the free OH groups of these esters are optionally wholly or partly esterified with C.sub.12 -C.sub.18 -carboxylic acids, and optionally c) fatty acid esters of alcohols having at least 22 carbon atoms and C.sub.1 -C.sub.36 -carboxylic acids, fatty acid esters of C.sub.12 -C.sub.22 -carboxylic acids and monohydric, dihydric or trihydric C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alcohols, polyethylene waxes, natural waxes or mixtures thereof, and optionally d) hydrocarbons having a boiling point above 200.degree. C., fatty acids having from 12 to 22 carbon atoms, or mixtures thereof are useful for foam control in relation to aqueous media prone to foaming, in particular for foam control in pulp cooking, pulp washing, the beating of paper stock, papermaking and the dispersing of pigments for papermaking.
