摘要: A chromatography column cartridge system comprised of an internal pressure-stable precision glass tube which can be filled with adsorbent and an external protection and/or temperature control jacket with column connection parts which can be screwed on. The column connection parts comprise a union nut which is screwed onto the protection and/or temperature control jacket. The union nut contains a milled nut and a plunger which seals the glass tube radially. Feed and discharge lines for the mobile phase pass through the column connection parts.

摘要: The invention relates to improved chromatographic support materials, to the preparation thereof and to the use thereof as sorbent for chromatography. The particles of these materials have hydrophobic surfaces consisting of fatty acid esters in the pores and hydrophilic outer surfaces. The materials according to the invention permit direct separation of protein-containing samples by means of reverse phase methods.

摘要: A chromatography column adapted for high pressure chromatography is characterized by a tubular membrane separating a glass tube from the pressurized area between the glass tube and a pressure tube adapted to receive a pressurizing fluid. Changing of the glass tube is facilitated by annular seals at each end of the glass tube against which an adjustable threaded plug, fitted in one of a pair of screw caps fitted on each end of the pressure tube, exerts sealing pressure.
