The present invention relates to a high power energy storage device additive and a lithium ion capacitor including the same, and more particularly, to: a preparation method of a new lithium ion capacitor additive which is added to a carbon-based material applied as a cathode active material of a lithium ion capacitor such that the new lithium ion capacitor additive is capable of improving capacity and energy density by electrochemically doping a lithium ion onto an anode; the lithium ion capacitor additive prepared thereby; and the lithium ion capacitor including the lithium ion capacitor additive.The lithium ion capacitor additive according to the present invention can release 3 mols or more of lithium ions even at a low voltage of 4.4 V or less, and the lithium ion capacitor including the lithium ion capacitor additive according to the present invention can electrochemically dope lithium onto the anode even without performing a pre-doping process using lithium metal as in the conventional lithium ion capacitor.

A hollow cylindrical shaped catalyst body for gas phase oxidation of an alkene to an α,β-unsaturated aldehyde and/or an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid comprises a compacted multimetal oxide having an external diameter ED, an internal diameter ID and a height H, wherein ED is in the range from 3.5 to 4.5 mm; the ratio q=ID/ED is in the range from 0.4 to 0.55; and the ratio p=H/ED is in the range from 0.5 to 1. The shaped catalyst body is mechanically stable and catalyzes the partial oxidation of an alkene to the products of value with high selectivity. It provides a sufficiently high catalyst mass density of the catalyst bed and good long-term stability with acceptable pressure drop.

A lithium ion secondary battery has a high cycle retention rate, and has its battery capacity increased. A positive electrode active material is used which includes a crystal phase having a structure formed by collecting a plurality of crystallites, and powder particles containing amorphous phases and formed between the crystallites. The amorphous phases and contain one or more kinds of metal oxides selected from the group consisting of vanadium oxide, iron oxide, manganese oxide, nickel oxide and cobalt oxide. The crystal phase and the amorphous phase and are capable of intercalation and deintercalation of lithium ions.

A method for preparing crystalline cobalt nitrate. The method includes: 1) calcining a spent Co/SiO2 catalyst, cooling the calcined material to room temperature, and grinding it to yield a powder; 2) heating the powder in a fluidized bed reactor; 3) adding the heated powder into excess dilute nitric acid solution and filtering to obtain a cobalt nitrate solution; 4) adjusting the pH value of the cobalt nitrate solution to 1.5, adding a preheated oxalic acid solution, adjusting a pH value of the resulting solution to 1.5, immediately filtering the resulting solution to yield a precipitate of cobalt oxalate, washing the precipitate of cobalt oxalate to yield a neutral filtrate; 5) drying the precipitate and calcining to yield cobalt oxide; 6) dissolving the cobalt oxide in nitric acid to yield a second cobalt nitrate solution; and 7) evaporating the second cobalt nitrate solution to obtain crystalline cobalt nitrate.

There is provided an acrylic adhesive composition which comprises: (A) a vinyl polymer comprising a homopolymer or a copolymer of an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a C4 to C14 alkyl group; (B) an organophilic layered double hydroxide organically treated with an organic anion; and (C) a crosslinking agent. Therefore the obtained adhesive composition has sufficient adhesiveness to an object, excellent heat resistance and excellent adhesive properties particularly at higher temperatures, and is substantially free from variations in adhesiveness.
