    摘要: A microchip solution sending system may include a flow passage assembly that is at least provided with a fine flow passage that is provided with a detection region including a formed reaction field to which an antibody that reacts with a specific antigen is fixed; and a micro pump that is connected to the flow passage assembly and that is configured to send a specimen material solution that includes the specific antigen in a reciprocating manner. The specimen material solution that has been sent may pass through the detection region in a repetitive manner in the case in which the micro pump sends the specimen material solution in a reciprocating manner.

    摘要: Improved methods, devices, and systems for mixing fluids, including small volumes of fluid, are provided. Pressing a pipette tip against an inner surface of a mixing vessel allows pressure to be applied within the tip. Greater pressure may be built-up than would be possible without engaging the tip with the mixing vessel. Disengaging the tip allows fluid flow through the tip, providing improved fluid mixing as compared to methods lacking engagement of a pipette tip with an inner surface of a mixing vessel while applying pressure within the pipette tip.Mixing vessels having features on an inner surface that are configured to engage a pipette tip, and to occlude an orifice of a pipette tip, are provided. Sample analysis devices and systems including pipette tips and mixing vessels configured to engage each other for pressure application within the tip are provided.

    摘要: An incubator includes a rotating incubator rotor. The incubator rotor is provided with a plurality of element chambers which are arranged along the outer periphery of the incubator rotor and each of which accommodates a dry analysis element spotted with a sample and incubates the dry analysis element. A light measuring system has a light measuring head which measures the optical density of the dry analysis element. The light measuring system is provided with a correction system which compensates for fluctuation in the value of the optical density of the dry analysis element in each of the element chambers as measured by the light measuring head generated due to fluctuation in the distance between the light measuring head and the element chamber on the basis of a correction value which has been stored in the correction system element chamber by element chamber.

    摘要: A method for mixing a liquid in a container in a diagnostic analyzer that includes: (a) providing a probe having a probe tip for aspirating and dispensing the liquid in the container; (b) providing the container containing one or more liquid(s) to be mixed; (c) inserting the probe into a first location of the container; (d) aspirating the one or more liquid(s) into the probe; (e) repositioning the probe or container to place the probe at a second location in the container; and (f) dispensing the one or more liquid(s) with the probe. A method of determining the amount of an analyte in a sample, includes the steps of: providing a sample containing an analyte in a container; providing a first reagent in the container; mixing the first reagent and sample as described above; optionally incubating the combined sample and reagent; optionally adding a second reagent to the container and mixing the second reagent and sample and first reagent as described above; and analyzing the sample for an analyte.

    摘要: An apparatus for carrying out an enzymatic cycling reaction including a turntable arranged in a reaction tank, a number of reaction vessels being arranged in the turntable along its periphery, a device for circulating an antifreeze liquid through the reaction tank, a heater for heating the antifreeze liquid, a refrigerator for cooling the antifreeze liquid and a switching valve for selectively passing the antifreeze liquid through the heater or refrigerator. Until all the samples and cycling mixture are delivered into the reaction vessels, the reaction tank is held at a very low temperature at which no enzymatic cycling reaction proceeds. Then the antifreeze liquid is heated to an enzymatic cycling reaction temperature so as to perform the enzymatic cycling reaction simultaneously for liquids contained in all the reaction vessels for a desired period. Then, the antifreeze liquid is heated to a high temperature so as to stop simultaneously the cycling reaction in all the reaction vessels.
