摘要： A process for the preparation of liquid developer compositions containing dyed polymer particles with an average diameter of from about 2 to about 6 microns, which particles are dispersed in an oil base, charge control additives, and stabilizers thereby permitting image transfer efficiencies exceeding 80 percent, which comprises formulating polymer particles by dispersion polymerization in a mixture comprised of a first oil base solvent, and a second solvent with a higher volatility than said first solvent, and further containing an amphipathic steric stabilizer; thereafter dyeing the product resulting; followed by removal of the more volatile second solvent; and subsequently adding to the dyed product a charge control additive.

摘要： An improved process for obtaining colored toner compositions by dispersion polymerization which comprises providing a monomer solution with stabilizer therein, polymerizing the resulting mixture, adding thereto a dye solution comprised of an organic solvent having dissolved therein oil soluble dyes, causing the dye solution to diffuse into the polymer particles, and subsequently separating the resulting toner particles, wherein the stabilizer is permanently attached to the toner polymer particles.

摘要： Dry monodispersed polymeric particles, a stabilized dispersion of such and a method for making are described. The dispersion comprises a polar dispersion medium having dispersed therein monodispersed particles comprising a thermoplastic resin core substantially insoluble in the dispersion medium formed from a styrene or butylmethacrylate containing monomer or mixtures thereof and having irreversibly anchored thereto, a nonionic amphipathic steric stabilizer comprising a graft copolymer having a portion formed from a styrene or butylmethacrylate containing monomer or mixture thereof and a portion formed from hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxybutyl methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose or cellulose propionate. The stable dispersion is made by dissolving the nonionic cellulose ether in the polar dispersion medium and in the presence of a free radical initiator adding styrene or butylmethacrylate containing monomer a mixture thereof thereto, and permitting polymerization to take place.

摘要： The present inventive concepts provide metal etchant compositions and methods of fabricating a semiconductor device using the same. The metal etchant composition includes an organic peroxide in a range of about 0.1 wt % to about 20 wt %, an organic acid in a range of about 0.1 wt % to about 70 wt %, and an alcohol-based solvent in a range of about 10 wt % to about 99.8 wt %. The metal etchant composition may be used in an anhydrous system.

摘要： The invention provides novel polymers, including triblock polymers, as well as methods of preparing the polymers, and compositions that include such polymers. The polymers can include at least three blocks, the first block that includes poly(styrene), the second block that includes a random arrangement of poly(ethylene) and poly(butylene), and a third block that includes functionalized poly(isoprene). Units of the functionalized poly(isoprene) block can include hydroxyl groups and one or more ether linked side chains comprising R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, as defined herein, or a combination thereof. The polymers can be used to provide antifouling coatings, for example, for marine ship hulls.
