Abstract:
An angle adjuster for a car headlamp is provided. The adjuster includes an adjuster stand having two crossed gear holders, a vertical gear holder and a crosswise gear holder. A driving gear with an integrally formed adjusting rod is disposed in the vertical gear holder and a threaded sleeve coupled to an active gear is disposed in the crosswise gear holder. A circular toothed groove is formed along the circumferential edge of the active gear to be driven by the driving gear. The two openings defined by the holders are each covered by a respective one of two slip caps. One end of a bolt is engaged with the threads of the threaded sleeve, and the other end is connected to the body of a headlamp. The screwing in or out of the bolt responsive to rotation of the adjusting rod drives the headlamp to change its tilt, the changed angle being set exactly in a simple and easy manner.
Abstract:
An electrically powered window shade with selectively variable shading characteristics is installable within a window opening for selectively blocking (by absorption or reflection), filtering and/or transmitting light through the window shade into a room for purposes of energy control and/or decoration, etc. This window shade comprises an upper roller assembly, a lower roller assembly, and an elongate flexible web wound on the upper and lower roller assemblies, with the web being longer than the spacing between the upper and lower roller assemblies. Each of the roller assemblies comprises an elongate tubular roller, bearings engageable with the end of the roller for rotatably journaling the ends of the roller with respect to the window. The web is scrolled onto and from the rollers as the latter are rotated about their respective longitudinal axes. A drive is provided for each of the rollers so as to drive the rollers in one direction or the other so as to scroll the web from one of the rollers onto the other roller. The drive comprises a gearmotor having an output shaft substantially coaxial with the gearmotor, and with the gearmotor being received within the roller, with the output shaft being coaxial with the roller. The gear motor is fixed against rotation with respect to the frame. Further, each of the gearmotors includes a torsional spring for maintaining the web taut as it is scrolled and unscrolled from one roller to the other, and while the web is stationary and to accommodate changes in rotation rates and roll diameters as the web is scrolled and unscrolled. Specifically, this torsional spring operatively connects the output shaft of each gearmotor with its respective roller. The torsional spring of one of the rollers is wound in one direction (e.g., clockwise), and the other torsional spring associated with the other gearmotor is wound in the other direction (e.g., counterclockwise) so that upon initial energization of one gearmotor or the other, differences in rotational speed and start-up times between the gearmotors will be taken up.
Abstract:
A SMT LED light string which the ICs with IDs are embedded in the light beads; wherein the light string is formed by connecting a plurality of SMT LED light beads which the IC control chips with IDs are set inside. All of the corresponding IC control chips with IDs for the SMT LED light beads can be controlled because the IC control chips with IDs are set in the SMT LED light beads. Therefore, the stable and orderly flashing can be achieved, and the lighting effects such as the line-up, the progression, and the chasing . . . , etc. can also be made. No matter for a monochrome light string or a colored light string, the effective control can both be achieved to make the various lighting effects because the IC control chips with IDs are set in the SMT LED light beads.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) system is provided. The LCD system includes a light source and a self-contained display unit including at least a LCD panel and a light guide plate coupled together, wherein the light guide plate is configured to guide light from the light source to the LCD panel as backlight and to structurally support the LCD panel. Further, a plurality of pre-made hollow spaces are contained in the display unit configured to host components of the LCD system. The LCD system also includes a controller contained in the plurality of pre-made hollow spaces and coupled to the LCD panel to control the LCD panel such that the light passing through the light guide plate is used as backlight for operation of the LCD panel.

A system is provided for detecting a blind spot for a driver of a vehicle. The system includes a side mirror. The side mirror is arranged on a body of the vehicle and includes a side mirror body, a mirror, and a supporting structure. The system also includes a detection system. The detection system is physically coupled with the side mirror to detect an object in a detection zone of the detection system. The detection zone covers the blind spot, and the detection system includes a detection module, an alert indicator, and a control module. The detection module includes at least one of a transmitter and a receiver, and the alert indicator is configured to send an alert light to the driver at a predetermined angle such that the alert light does not interfere with drivers of other vehicles close to the vehicle.

The III-V compound semiconductor layer includes a first portion over the mask layer and second portions in the gaps, wherein the III-V compound semiconductor layer overlies a buffer/nucleation layer.
Abstract:
A method for efficient state transition matrix based LFSR computations are disclosed. A polynomial associated with a linear feedback shift register is defined. This polynomial is used to generate a single step state transition matrix. The single step state transition matrix is then modified into a more general k-step state transition matrix. The resultant combined matrix is reduced in size and can be multiplied by a state input vector, ultimately producing a plurality of next state-input vectors thereby providing improved efficiency in computing a LFSR.
