Abstract: Systems maintain synchronicity among elements intended to be displayed at various points during a live media stream. At a multimedia player, start playback of a live media stream. The systems receive input from a user selecting a new time of the media stream to playback, which is different than the current playback time of the media stream. The systems adjust playback of the media stream to restart at the new selected time, such that the current playback time of the output media stream is updated to the new selected time. The systems monitor the current playback time of the media stream as adjusted. The systems determine a user-initiated command to execute for displaying one or more visual elements at the multimedia player by polling a command manifest file based on the current playback time as adjusted.

Abstract: A method, a mission critical (MC) server, and a receiver for managing media communication in an MC system are provided. The method comprises receiving, from a sender, a request and a media stream for transmitting the media stream to one or more receivers. The request indicates a mode of transmission of the media stream. Further, the method comprises transmitting a notification message indicating a mode of reception identified based on the mode of transmission, to the one or more receivers for receiving the media stream from the sender. The mode of reception is one from among an emergency mode and a normal mode. Thereafter, the method comprises transmitting the media stream to the one or more receivers subsequent to transmission of the notification message, when the mode of reception is the emergency mode.

The one or more processors are configured to receive a first user request for data from the client device using the one or more transceivers, determine a first point in time for retrieving the data based on an amount of charge in batteries of the one or more stations in the network, retrieve, at the first point in time, the data from a remote server via the network using the one or more transceivers, store the data in the memory, and in response to a second user request, transmit the data to the client device using the one or more transceivers.

Abstract: An example implementation may involve a computing system receiving, from a media playback system, a request to initiate playback of a cloud queue. The cloud queue may currently have a first access status that authorizes a first set of queue operations, which may include playback of the cloud queue. After receiving the request to initiate playback, the computing system may cause audio tracks of the cloud queue to be queued in a local queue of the media playback system such that the media playback system may playback audio tracks of the cloud queue via the local queue. The computing system may modify the access status of the cloud queue to a second access status. This second access status may authorize a second set of queue operations on the cloud queue. The computing system may cause access to the local queue to be restricted to the second set of queue operations.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for delivery of notification messaging in an IP network. A multicast gateway may receive manifest files and segments of programming content for retrieval by a client device. The multicast gateway may receive segments of a notification message and modify information in the manifest file to reference the notification message content. Upon retrieval of the manifest file by a client device, the client may access the notification message content referenced in the manifest file. The multicast gateway may replace references to programming content with references to notification message content having a corresponding content type.

Abstract: While a first playback device is a member of a synchronous media playback group with a second playback device using a first media playback protocol, and after a particular playback setting is enabled using the first media playback protocol, the first playback device receives, from a media source device, a first media stream using a second media playback protocol. The first and second media playback protocols are incompatible. The first playback device determines that the particular playback setting is enabled and that the synchronous media playback group includes the first playback device and the second playback device. Subsequently, the first playback device (i) generates a second media stream based on the received first media stream, the second media stream including information for synchronous playback with the first playback device, and (ii) transmits, to the second playback device, the second media stream using the second media playback protocol.

Abstract: Systems and methods for video processing generates 3D streaming data via an API may be provided. A 3D streaming session may be delivered at a client device with low latency and high throughput capacity. Upon verification of the client device, a server may be selected to support an encapsulated 3D streaming engine to initiate the session. A library file may be injected into an executable file of the encapsulated 3D streaming engine to generate a digital representation of an interactive 3D environment. The interactive 3D environment may be rendered, encoded, and streamed to the client device via a GPU. The 3D streaming session may be adjusted via the client device, and sustained until terminated at the client device. A number of virtual compute instances of encapsulated 3D streaming engines provided by the server may be dynamically adjusted based on metrics and machine learning predictions of connected client devices.
