    摘要: A process for producing a purified synthesis gas stream from a carbonaceous feedstock, the process comprising (a) oxidizing a carbonaceous feedstock to obtain syngas containing hydrogen sulphide, (b) mixing the synthesis gas with methanol, reducing the temperature of said mixture and separating a liquid methanol-water mixture from a cooled syngas, (c) contacting the cooled syngas with methanol to decrease the content of hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide thereby obtaining a rich methanol stream comprising hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide, (d) regenerating the rich methanol stream by separating from the rich methanol a carbon dioxide fraction and a hydrogen sulphide fraction to obtain lean methanol, wherein part of the methanol in the methanol-water mixture obtained in step (b) is isolated and reused in step (b) and/or (c) and wherein another part of the methanol in the methanol-water mixture obtained in step (b) is recycled to step (a).

According to a first aspect of the invention there is provided a method for the preparation of a hydrocarbon synthesis catalyst, the method including the steps of: (a) providing a melt including a mixture of at least one metal iron oxide and a catalyst promoter selected from the group consisting of at least one of a source of an alkali metal and a source of an alkali earth metal; (b) subjecting the melt to a fluid stream so as to thereby disperse the melt into droplets including the metal iron oxide and the catalyst promoter; and (c) quenching the droplets of the melt so as to form the hydrocarbon synthesis catalyst in the form of solid particles including the metal oxide and the catalyst promoter.

    摘要: A process for the production of synthesis gas by gasification with the aid of air or oxygen or oxygen-saturated air as well as water vapor, a solid or liquid carbon-bearing fuel material being fed to a reactor, is shown. The fuel material is converted with the aid of air or oxygen or oxygen-saturated air and water vapor at an elevated temperature into a synthesis gas essentially consisting of hydrogen, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide; the reaction also yields mineral slag droplets which are removed from the reactor separately from the synthesis gas obtained, and the synthesis gas being discharged from the reactor in any random direction desired; the vaporous alkalis contained in the synthesis gas come into contact with a getter ceramic material so that they separate from the synthesis gas and hence, the synthesis gas can be sent to a slag separation device without previous cooling step and the slag droplets being withdrawn from the said device as liquid slag.

The UZM-29 zeolites are represented by the empirical formula: Mmn+R+rAl1−xExSiyOz UZM-29 has the PHI structure type topology but is thermally stable up to a temperature of at least 350° C. UZM-29HS is a high silica version of UZM-29 and is represented by the empirical formula: M1′n+aAl(1−x)ExSiyOz. Examples of the hydrocarbon conversion processes are isomerization of alkanes, especially butane and the conversion of oxygenates to olefins.

The catalysts of the invention can be prepared by precipitation, impregnation, sol-gel methods, sintering processes or by powder synthesis.
