摘要: A process is disclosed comprising, providing a source of graphene, providing a particulate material, dispersing a mixture of the source of graphene and the particulate material in a first dispersion fluid to form a dispersion mixture, and providing a source of a base in the first dispersion fluid, thereby causing the source of graphene and particulate material in the dispersion mixture to interact forming a composite. The particulate material is preferably titanium dioxide comprising anatase and/or rutile which provides an effective photocatalytic composite. Also disclosed is apparatus to remove pollutants from fluids using the photocatalytically active material.

摘要: Metal carbon and oxide nanocomposites prepared by a simple, low energy demanding, and high yield method are provided. The metal carbon nanocomposites can be prepared with or without a support such as silica, graphite, silicates, and zeolites. Both metal carbon and metal oxides nanocomposites are more efficient in catalytic reduction and oxidation of p-nitrophenol and azo dyes than other reported materials. They have high rate constants, number of catalytic cycles and catalytic turn over number (TON) compared to currently used materials.

摘要: A water-based paint composition includes a manganese oxide-based catalyst, activated carbon, at least one water-soluble resin selected from a group consisting of acrylic resin, modified acrylic resin, and fluorocarbon resin, a polyacrylate-based dispersant, and a water-based solvent. The water-based paint composition, although including the manganese oxide-based catalyst, allows a coating film to be resistant to chalking and weather.

A method for making the shaped dehydrogenation catalyst can include combining a group 13 metal precursor and a group 1 metal precursor with a catalyst support precursor to form a shapeable material, shaping the shapeable material to form a wet shaped material, drying the wet shaped material to form a dry shaped material, and calcining the dry shaped material to form the shaped dehydrogenation catalyst.

摘要: Methods are provided for formulation of catalysts with improved catalyst exposure lifetimes under oxygenate conversion conditions. In various additional aspects, methods are described for performing oxygenate conversion reactions using such catalysts with improved catalyst exposure lifetimes. The catalyst formulation methods can include formulation of oxygenate conversion catalysts with binders that are selected from binders having a surface area of roughly 250 m2/g or less, or 200 m2/g or less. In various aspects, during formulation, a weak base can be added to the zeotype crystals, to the binder material, or to the mixture of the zeotype and the binder. It has been unexpectedly discovered that addition of a weak base, so that the weak base is present in at least one component of the binder mixture prior to formulation, can result in longer catalyst exposure lifetimes under methanol conversion conditions.

摘要: Disclosed is a catalyst pre-contact method for the continuous polymerization of an olefin, wherein a primary catalyst, a co-catalyst and, optionally, an external electron donor are mixed and then undergo a pre-contact reaction, with the pre-contact reaction temperature being −30° C. to 35° C. and adjustable, and the pre-contact reaction time being 0.5 min to 10 min and adjustable, and the pre-contacted catalyst is brought into a catalyst prepolymerization system and then into a catalyst polymerization system, or is directly brought into the catalyst polymerization system. Further disclosed is a catalyst pre-contact device for the continuous polymerization of an olefin, which can adjust the pre-contact time and pre-contact temperature of the catalyst so that the performance of the catalyst achieves a better level according to the process.
