    Abstract: The present invention provides a process for incorporating a wireless device into a plastic container as part of the steps of manufacturing the container. The plastic container can be a flexible plastic bag and are formed of one or more sheets, generally two or more sheets of plastic film or a rigid plastic container such as a tub or tote. The bags are formed by sealing together adjacent edge portions of each film layer. One embodiment of the present invention is to incorporate a wireless device between the edge portions of the film(s) before or during sealing so that the wireless device becomes permanently sealed into the film material but is isolated from both the bag interior and the outside environment. Another embodiment is to incorporate the wireless device onto or into a plastic component that is sealed to the container, such as a nipple or port, so that the wireless device becomes permanently sealed to the container but is isolated from both the container interior and the outside environment.

    Abstract: A fluid filtration device containing a composite filter media having a coarse porous polymeric nonwoven interlayer located between first and second polymeric fiber containing filter mats. The fiber diameters of the fibers in the first and second filter mats are different from each other, and each filter mat has a different pore size rating. The first and second polymeric fibers in the filter mats can be electrospun nanofibers. The interlayer has a coarser pore size when compared to the either the first or second filter mats, such that the resulting composite media has an increased dirt holding capacity compared to filter layers that are layered directly over each other without the presence of a coarse interlayer therebetween.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a circuit comprising a bag (11) comprising two flexible films (45, 46) and a press (10) comprising a first (14) and a second (13) shell clamping the bag to form pipes having a passage and edges (41); the first shell comprising a valve (20) which comprises a movable member (24) and a pad (31), which pad has a resting configuration in which a second face (33) of the pad is concave and locally delimits a channel (18) and a pinching configuration in which the second face (33) is convex; said movable member and said pad being configured so that, when said valve is in closed position and said pad in pinching configuration, said passage is pinched by said movable member against said second shell channel and said edges (41) are pinched flat by said movable member against said second shell (13).
