摘要: An antistatic shoe includes an outsole having a conducting portion that is made of a conducting material and an insole that has a conducting portion mad of a conducting material. An antistatic unit is sewn to the conducting portion of the insole from below so as to be located between the outsole and the insole. An upper is mounted on the outsole and the insole. Electric connection between the components allows static electricity from a human body to be transmitted to a resistor in the antistatic unit, so that static electricity that would otherwise accumulate in the human body can be stably removed by the resistor and sent to the ground. This eliminates the risk of a transient electrostatic discharge that may disadvantageously damage adjacent electronic devices or generate sparks.

摘要: An article of footwear is provided, which may include an upper and a sole structure. The upper may include an exposed outer layer forming at least a portion of an external surface of the upper. The upper may also include a polymer foam material selectively located on an inner side of the exposed outer layer and adjacent portions of the exposed outer layer, thereby forming padded portions of the upper. The padded portions of the upper may be located in areas of the article of footwear that correspond with predetermined bones of a foot of a wearer of the article of footwear.

摘要: A foot and ankle support system using one or more pressure-flexed support bars made of resilient material, each of which can be adjustably positioned and removably attached to selected positions along the medial, lateral, or posterior heel sides of an article of footwear. One end of the support bar is affixed to the base portion of the article of footwear and the other end is affixed to the collar or ankle portion causing the resilient support bar to flex into a bow-like position. Each support bar stores energy and returns resistance when engaged by various directional movements of the foot during walking, running, sports activities or rehabilitation. A plurality of pressure-flexed support bars work in tandem to provide additional support and control of foot inversion and eversion, pronation and supination. An alternative embodiment uses a pressure-flexed bladder type support bar filled with air, gas, liquid gel or other material.

摘要: The invention relates to a one-piece protective toe cap for safety footwear, forming a concave frame consisting of a front wall with connected side walls, the upper edges of which are joined by a concave surface along the profile of the last. The contour or edge of the flange of the toe cap is provided with a recess in order to house a tab and provide comfort, as well as improving the appearance of the footwear (not shown in these documents). The design withstands impact tests of approximately 101.7 to 146.7 Joules (10.4 to 14.95 kgf-m), leaving clearance of approximately 11 mm to 14 mm in the capped shoe and not only at the tip of the cap.

摘要: An insole which provides cushioning and support to a user's foot subjected to a high magnitude of ground reaction forces (GRF) encountered in playing court sports, such as basketball, is herein disclosed. The insole comprises a base having a bottom side which defines recesses adapted to receive pads having particular properties. The location and materials of the various pads and pods work together to provide ground reaction force modulation to the user's foot which is highly desirable for users engaged in basketball and similar activities.

摘要: The present invention is a method for manufacturing inflatable bladders for use in articles of manufacture. The method includes the steps of providing a first polymer film, applying a curable release coating to the polymer film in a pattern that corresponds to the configuration of the inflatable bladder, curing the release coating to the first polymer film, providing a second polymer film with the first polymer film to form a layered element such that the release coating is disposed between the polymer films, positioning the layered element between two plies of material, applying heat and pressure to adhere the polymer films together except in the area where the release coating has been applied to form an inflatable compartment surrounded by a sealed perimeter, and removing the plies of material from the adhered first and second polymer films.

摘要: A footwear system is disclosed, which includes a shell having an inner cavity and at least one recessed area offset from an inner surface of the shell, and a chassis having one or more components adapted to protect a user's foot from injury. In one embodiment, the chassis is insertable into the inner cavity of the shell, such that the one or more components of the chassis are securely retained (e.g., permanently affixed) within the at least one recessed area of the shell. Methods of forming the aforementioned footwear system using expandable materials are also disclosed.
