摘要: In some embodiments, there is provided a scrubber system for cleaning return air in an HVAC unit, where the scrubber system attaches directly to an inlet of the return-air side of the HVAC unit, for example, by the mating of a flange on the system with a matching flange on the HVAC unit. The bolt-on scrubber system may comprise one or more sorbent materials, a fan for circulating return air through the sorbent, a damper-controlled inlet and a damper-controlled outlet to the attached return air side of the HVAC unit. Further, an additional air flow channel and a damper may be included in the system to control the flow of outside air into the HVAC unit. In some embodiments, the sorbents may be contained in removable inserts.

摘要: Biogas containing H2S and CO2 is upgraded by removing H2S using PTSA and CO2 using two stages of gas separation membranes. The first stage permeate may optionally be used a regeneration gas stream. The second stage permeate may optionally be used a cool down gas stream. The PTSA unit includes two or more adsorbent beds each selective for water, VOCs, and H2S over CO2 and for H2S over methane.

摘要: Gas-tight decanter centrifuge process for separation of volatile organic compounds from drilling fluid. A method is described for removing low gravity solids from a mixture of recovered oil based drilling fluid and low gravity solids and diluent. A gas-tight decanter centrifuge that is designed and constructed for this purpose in a gas-tight manor so to ensure vapour cannot escape the decanting process, and foreign oxygen cannot enter the process under normal operating conditions.

摘要: The present invention disclosed a method for improving the adsorption capacity of a fixed bed and its application in organic waste gas treatment field. The method solved existing problems including high equipment investment cost, low processing capacity, attendant safety risks, etc. The steps are: (1) adsorption: organic waste gas is passed through the adsorption column containing the adsorbent to allow the organic waste to be adsorbed; when VOCs concentration at the outlet end of the adsorption column reached a preset value, the adsorption is halted; (2) desorption: adsorbent that has absorbed VOCs was desorbed by water vapor of 110° C. or higher, or hot nitrogen of 150° C. or higher; the desorbed VOCs enter into a condenser and is recovered in liquid state; (3) pre-adsorption of water: spray water inside the adsorption column after the desorption to adjust the water content of the adsorbent to 8-35%, no other treatment is necessary before the next batch of VOCs adsorption. The present invention can effectively reduce the bed temperature and improve adsorbent's adsorption capacity.

摘要: An adsorbent having a microwave absorption property is provided. The adsorbent having an improved microwave absorption property, which has a core-shell structure including a silicon carbide bead disposed therein, and an adsorbing material disposed outside the silicon carbide bead, can be provided. Also, the adsorbent may further include a plurality of silicon carbide particles dispersed and disposed therein and having a diameter of 1 μm to 10 μm, and the adsorbing material may be ion-exchanged with a cation. Therefore, the adsorbent can be useful in improving desorption efficiency since the adsorbent may be rapidly heated by microwaves to reach the desorption temperature due to high reactivity to microwaves. Also, the adsorbent can be useful in maintaining full adsorption capacity without having an influence on adsorption quantity since the silicon carbide bead is disposed in the inner core of the adsorbent. Further, when the adsorbent is applied to conventional systems for removing organic compounds using microwaves or dehumidification systems, the adsorbent can be semi-permanently used, and may also have an effect of enhancing the energy efficiency by 30% or more, compared to adsorbents used in the conventional systems.

摘要: A gas treatment device includes a plasma-generating unit and a catalyst medium. The plasma-generating unit is provided with at least a flow channel through which a gas to be treated flows; and a power-supply unit for supplying electrical power, a first electrode, a second electrode and a dielectric material arranged inside the flow channel. A voltage is impressed between the first electrode and the second electrode by the power-supply unit and electrical discharging is caused to occur, whereby plasma is generated. The catalyst medium is adapted for accelerating a reaction with the gas to be treated and is provided in a position where the plasma generated by the plasma-generating unit inside the flow channel is present, and the catalyst medium has metallic catalytic particles present on an inorganic substance.
