Abstract: Provided herein is a computing system including a processor in communication with at least one memory. The processor is configured to (i) build a model using historical vehicle telematics data and historical vehicle data, the model configured to: (a) predict an operating cost of a vehicle based upon a vehicle type and user data and (b) output operational parameters for operating the vehicle, (ii) receive a vehicle acquisition request for a selected vehicle including vehicle data for the selected vehicle and selected user data for the user of the selected vehicle, (iii) input the vehicle acquisition request data into the model, and (iv) output from the model an acquisition cost and operational parameters for the selected vehicle and the selected user including a procurement cost for the selected vehicle and an operating cost for operating the selected vehicle within the operational parameters for a predetermined time period.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for intelligent charging of shipping container power supplies. An exemplary computer-implemented method may include (1) retrieving container data that includes a power supply indication for a set of shipping containers; (2) identifying one or more shipping containers, wherein the power supply indication for each of the shipping containers indicates that the one or more shipping containers include a power supply; (3) applying a charging model to the container data to determine (i) a charging prioritization, (ii) a respective charge value, and (iii) a respective charging rate; and (4) causing each of the one or more shipping containers to receive the respective charge value at the respective charging rate in a sequential order based upon the charging prioritization for each of the shipping containers.

Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring use and determining risks associated with operation of a vehicle having one or more autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, operating data may be recorded during operation of the vehicle. This may include information regarding the vehicle, the vehicle environment, use of the autonomous operation features, and/or control decisions made by the features. The control decisions may include actions the feature would have taken to control the vehicle, but which were not taken because a vehicle operator was controlling the relevant aspect of vehicle operation at the time. The operating data may be recorded in a log, which may then be used to determine risk levels associated with vehicle operation based upon risk levels associated with the autonomous operation features. The risk levels may further be used to adjust an insurance policy associated with the vehicle.

Abstract: The following relates generally to providing virtual reality (VR) alerts to a driver of an autonomous vehicle. For example, a vehicle may be driving autonomously while the driver is watching a VR movie (e.g., on a pair of VR goggles); the driver may then receive a VR alert recommending that the driver take control of the vehicle (e.g., switch the vehicle from autonomous to manual mode). The following also relates to generating a VR feed for presenting real-time road conditions so that a user may preview a road segment. The following also relates to generating a VR feed corresponding to an event (e.g., a vehicle collision, a crime, a weather event, and/or a natural disaster).

In some embodiments, one or more processors obtain a driving score based upon a user's driving history traversing streets displayed in virtual reality (VR). A request for navigation directions may then be received, and a set of navigation directions may be generated in response to the request. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dampening impact to a vehicle. The system may include a vehicle frame component; a plurality of adjustable exterior vehicle body components coupled to the frame component, wherein the vehicle body components are on different sides of a vehicle and are configurable to dampen an external force exerted on the vehicle; a plurality of actuator components configured to adjust physical configurations of the vehicle body components relative to the frame component; a component configured to collect data representing an external environment of the vehicle; and one or more processors configured to detect, by processing the data, an external driving condition, wherein the external driving condition is an impending collision between the vehicle and one or more objects external to the vehicle, and when the external driving condition is detected, cause the actuator components to correspondingly adjust the physical configurations of the vehicle body components.

Abstract: A method and system may use computer vision techniques and machine learning analysis to automatically identify a user's biometric characteristics. A user's client computing device may capture a video of the user. Feature data and movement data may be extracted from the video and applied to statistical models for determining several biometric characteristics. The determined biometric characteristic values may be used to identify individual health scores and the individual health scores may be combined to generate an overall health score and longevity metric. An indication of the user's biometric characteristics which may include the overall health score and longevity metric may be displayed on the user's client computing device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for predictive data analytics are provided. A method comprises generating a guided user interface (GUI) that guides one or more user operations on the user interface including: obtaining, from a database, a dataset including a plurality of data objects; determining one or more characteristics associated with a first data object of the plurality of data objects; identifying a subset of the dataset based at least in part on the one or more characteristics; selecting at least one machine learning algorithm; and training a machine learning (ML) model with respect to the first data object using the subset of the dataset and the at least one machine learning algorithm to generate a trained ML model; implementing the trained ML model with respect to the first data object in a cloud server to enable distributing the trained ML model to a plurality of client device via a network.

Abstract: Techniques for collecting, synchronizing, and displaying various types of data relating to a road segment enable, via one or more local or remote processors, servers, transceivers, and/or sensors, (i) enhanced and contextualized analysis of vehicle events by way of synchronizing different data types, relating to a monitored road segment, collected via various different types of data sources; (ii) enhanced and contextualized analysis of filed insurance claims pertaining to a vehicle incident at a road segment; (iii) advantageous machine learning techniques for predicting a level of risk assumed for a given vehicle event or a given road segment; (iv) techniques for accounting for region-specific driver profiles when controlling autonomous vehicles; and/or (v) improved techniques for providing a GUI to display collected data in a meaningful and contextualized manner.
