Abstract:
A stimulator apparatus for stimulating an organ, such as a penis. The apparatus includes a spherical housing configured to receive an organ through at least one aperture and allow for a 180° range of motion while manipulating the organ and/or the stimulator apparatus. The stimulator apparatus provides intensified sexual stimulation through frictional engagement between the organ and at least one channel in the housing. The at least one aperture includes a cover, and is sized and dimensioned to resemble a female sexual organ. The at least one channel includes numerous textures, orientations, diameters, and mechanical features to help enhance sexual stimuli for the organ. At least one grip portion positions on the housing to allow for sufficient grip for a user to manipulate the stimulator apparatus to a desired intensity and duration. The at least one grip comprises multiple indentations that match each finger.
Abstract:
A wound or incision closure apparatus comprises a first and second panel. Each of the panels comprises a bottom adhesive layer, a medial substrate layer, and an upper load distribution layer which connect the two panels. A sensory or therapeutic element is disposed adjacent, within, or between two or more of the layers. The sensory or therapeutic element can provide sensing and/or therapy for the incision and/or monitor the incision so that the therapy can be customized and updated.
Abstract:
A dermatological skin treatment device is provided. The device comprises a handpiece and a cutting tool, wherein the tool is inserted through the conduit and percutaneously inserted into a tissue disposed within a recessed area of the handpiece. The device and method cut the fibrous structures under the skin that cause cellulite at an angle substantially parallel to the surface of the skin and replace these structures with a non-cellulite forming structure by deploying a highly fibrous mesh through a single needle hole to create a highly fibrous layer directly or through wound healing processes.
Abstract:
Provided is a facial massage device including: a massage head (1) that comprises: a bearing element (20) that is intended to be placed against the face and that forms a bearing ring (21) defining a bearing surface (S) lying within a bearing plane (P) and a working area (Z) located within the bearing ring, within the bearing ring and inside the working area (Z), at least one working head (22) that has a working surface that extends, protruding, from the bearing plane (P), manoeuvring means (25) designed to move each working head (22) in rotation about at least one axis of rotation (Δ, Δ′) offset relative to the centre of the corresponding working surface (T), and a drive housing that carries the massage head (1) and that comprises an electric motor (6) that actuates drive means (7) designed to transmit the drive from the electric motor (6) to the manoeuvring means (25), wherein each working surface extends permanently protruding from the bearing plane (P) by a height H, measured between the top of the working surface and the bearing plane P.
Abstract:
A cosmetic instrument capable of reading a memory card includes a first housing; a second housing, assembled with the first housing to cooperatively form a shell having a chamber; a massage head mounted on a first end of the shell, the massage head extending into the chamber; a control panel comprising a display panel, the control panel being mounted on the shell beside the massage head; a micro controller unit and a drive unit positioned in the chamber and electrically connected with each other, the micro controller unit being electrically connected to the control panel and the display panel. The first housing and the seconding housing define a card insertion hole. The micro controller unit is configured to read information of a memory card inserted into the card insertion hole and generates a result. The display panel displays the result to remind the user to operate the cosmetic instrument.
Abstract:
An end effector is capable of being used to stimulate a portion of skin at a stimulation frequency. The end effector includes a base portion that is couplable to a motor and an end portion having a plurality of contact points at which the end effector is configured to contact the portion of skin. The plurality of contact points are located at a target distance from each other that is based on an inverse of the stimulation frequency. The end effector is configured such that, when the base portion is coupled to the motor and the motor is operating, the end effector has a resonant frequency based on the stimulation frequency. When the motor is operating and a force is applied to bias the end effector toward the portion of skin, a cyclical stimulus is produced within the portion of skin at about the stimulation frequency.
Abstract:
A device for scar management includes an applicator head including a recess having a rotating means therein, a reservoir containing a silicone composition fluidly connected to the applicator head, and a metering valve fluidly connected to the reservoir. The composition has viscosity of 3,000 to 8,000 cps, and consists of a mixture of cyclopentasiloxane, dimethiconol, dimethicone, and dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer. A metered dose of the silicone composition is delivered from the reservoir to the applicator head upon the application of external pressure to the metering valve. The invention also relates to a method for scar management using such device by identifying a target skin area having a wound or scar, contacting the outward surface of the applicator head to the target skin area, massaging the rotating means of the applicator head on the target skin area, and applying the silicone composition to the target skin area via the rotating means.
Abstract:
A facial rejuvenating apparatus includes a pad having a concavity in an upper surface thereof. The concavity is configured to receive a human face. A pad breathing hole extends through the pad at a location to align with a nose of the face positioned in the concavity. A nonporous lining is provided to nest with the concavity in the pad. A lining breathing opening registers with the pad breathing opening. Stimulators, such as vibrators, are mounted in the pad to stimulate the face of a person using the apparatus.
