Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for anonymizing navigation data and generating an autonomous vehicle road navigation model with the anonymized data. A navigation system may receive data relating to a road section from a vehicle. The system may determine one or more motion representations associated with the vehicle and one or more road characteristics associated with the road section. The system may assemble navigation information relative to a first portion and relative to a second portion of the road section. The first and second portions may be spatially separated by a third portion. The system may transmit the navigation information relating to the first and second portions and forego transmitting information relating to the third portion. A server may receive the transmitted navigation information and assemble an autonomous vehicle road navigation model. The server may transmit the navigation model to one or more vehicles for use in autonomous navigation.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for navigating an autonomous vehicle. In one implementation, a system includes a processing device programmed to receive a plurality of images representative of an environment of the host vehicle. The environment includes a road on which the host vehicle is traveling. The at least one processing device is further programmed to analyze the images to identify a target vehicle traveling in a lane of the road different from a lane in which the host vehicle is traveling; analyze the images to identify a lane mark associated with the lane in which the target vehicle is traveling; detect lane mark characteristics of the identified lane mark; use the detected lane mark characteristics to determine a type of the identified lane mark; determine a characteristic of the target vehicle; and determine a navigational action for the host vehicle based on the determined lane mark type and the determined characteristic of the target vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for vehicle navigation. In one implementation, a system for navigating a vehicle may include at least one processor configured to receive a first image frame; detect in the first image frame a representation of a traffic light and determine a color state associated with lamps included on the traffic light. The at least one processor may receive an additional image frame includes a representation of the at least one traffic light; and determine, based on a comparison of the first image frame and the additional image frame, whether the at least one traffic light includes a blinking lamp. If the at least one traffic light includes a blinking lamp, the processor may cause the vehicle to implement a navigational action relative the traffic light in accordance with the determination and also based on a detected color state for the blinking lamp.
