    摘要: A method and system for managing M2M traffic in a network is provided. The M2M device sends a message that includes a machine identity for the M2M device. A query is submitted to a database that correlates the machine identity with a QoS parameter or a priority. The message is assigned to one of a plurality of input queues based on the assigned QoS parameter or priority. Each input queue is associated with a delay period so that the message is held in the queue for a period less than the delay period.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for scheduling uplink (UL) transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a backoff parameter from a network, and determines whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter before transmitting a scheduling request (SR) to the network via a dedicated channel. Whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter is determined according to a prioritized access, and the prioritized access corresponds to one of emergency access, high priority access, control element/information in media access control (MAC), radio link control (RLC) or packet data convergence protocol (PDCP), data radio bearer (DRB) for voice/video service, signaling radio bearer (SRB) 0, SRB 1, SRB 2, multimedia telephony service (MMTEL)-voice, MMTEL-video, and voice over long-term evolution (VoLTE).

    摘要: In systems and methods of allocating carriers in a wireless communication network, a plurality of wireless devices in communication with an access node is ranked in a first ranking according to a required data rate of each wireless device. A carrier metric is determined for each of a plurality of carriers of the access node according to an actual data rate of each of the carriers and the required data rate of each wireless device, and each of the carriers is ranked in a second ranking for each of the plurality of wireless devices according to the determined carrier metric of each of the plurality of carriers. A first wireless device is selected from the first ranking, and a carrier from the second ranking is allocated to the selected first wireless device when the carrier provides the required data rate of the selected first wireless device.
