摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for monitoring or affecting movement of a vehicle using a traffic device. An event data source may have a processor and/or a transceiver. The event data source may transmit, via the transceiver and to a vehicle and infrastructure computing device, information indicative of an event affecting a portion of road. The vehicle and infrastructure computing device may comprise a vehicle and infrastructure control computer. The vehicle and infrastructure computing device may receive, from the event data source, the information indicative of the event affecting the portion of road. The computing device may determine one or more traffic devices associated with the portion of road and configured to control traffic for the portion of road. Based on the information indicative of the event affecting the portion of road, the computing device may send, to the one or more traffic devices associated with the portion of road, instructions to change one or more characteristics of the one or more traffic devices.

The method includes: capturing, by a first video camera, an image of a vehicle; determining whether the image satisfies a condition; raising a first barrier when the image satisfies the condition; detecting whether there is only the one vehicle between the first barrier and a second barrier; and raising the second barrier to enable the vehicle to enter or leave the parking lot when detecting that there is only the one vehicle between the first barrier and the second barrier.

摘要: A traffic volume determination system includes a processor configured to: calculate, while taking account of a change between a past traffic volume and a current traffic volume of vehicles passing through an area around a link, an estimated value of the current traffic volume of the vehicles passing through the link from the past traffic volume of the vehicles passing through the link; and determine that the link is closed when a current actual traffic volume of the vehicles passing through the link is smaller than the estimated value of the current traffic volume of the vehicles passing through the link by more than a statistical error.

摘要: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing a traffic news interface. For example, a traffic news provider component may query traffic camera data and/or traffic incident data to identify traffic cameras and/or traffic incidents along a route of a driver. The traffic cameras and/or the traffic incidents may be ranked based upon a safety metric, a travel time sensitivity metric, an alternative route selection metric, a driving behavior pattern, a driver mood, a distance of a traffic camera or traffic incident from a current user location, and/or other information used to determine how relevant information from the traffic camera and/or a traffic incident is to this particular driver. A subset of traffic cameras and/or traffic incidents may be selected for inclusion within a traffic news interface based upon camera relevancy rankings and/or incident relevancy rankings.

摘要: A probe data collection method is provided to ensure real-time nature of collected probe data and to reduce a communication load of the server. Based on received probe data, a total number of vehicles that have transmitted probe data and upload times of the probe data for each vehicle are detected. Based on the detected upload times, correction values of the upload times are calculated for each of the vehicle according to the total number of the vehicles. Then, the calculated correction values are transmitted to the vehicles.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a road traffic condition estimation system includes a storage, an inter-vehicle distance estimator, a vehicle density estimator, and a traffic flow rate estimator. The storage stores a speed and inter-vehicle distance table representing a relationship between vehicle speeds and inter-vehicle distances. The inter-vehicle distance estimator acquires a representative value of speeds of vehicles traveling on a given section of a road, and estimates a representative value of inter-vehicle distances on the section on the basis of the representative value of the speeds and the speed and inter-vehicle distance table. The vehicle density estimator estimates a vehicle density on the section on the basis of the estimated representative value of the inter-vehicle distances and a length of the section. The traffic flow rate estimator estimates a traffic flow rate on the section on the basis of the representative value of the speeds and the estimated vehicle density.
