    摘要： Diffusely reflective articles manufactured from optical bodies including continuous and disperse phases are disclosed along with methods of manufacturing such articles. Also disclosed are underdrawn continuous/disperse phase optical bodies that are particularly well-suited to post-forming operations. The articles, methods and optical bodies of the present invention preferably allow for post-forming of the optical bodies while retaining desired levels of diffuse reflectivity in the articles formed from the optical bodies.

    摘要： A glittering non-retroreflective sheeting 60 includes an array of cube-corner elements 30 that are arranged in the array such that the sheeting glitters when light is incident thereon. The glitter is in the form of many discrete points of light 68 that tend to blink off and on. The array may be configured such that a dihedral angle .alpha. varies between adjacent cube faces 31 of adjacent cube-corner elements 30 in each groove in one of the groove sets 45, 46, or 47 and such that the base plane 36 are not parallel to each other when the sheeting 60 is laid flat. Preferably, the dihedral angle .alpha. between faces 31 of adjacent cube-corner elements 30 varies in essentially all of the grooves such that the cube-corner elements are randomly tilted throughout the array. The glitter can make the sheeting very useful for aesthetic or decorative applications.

    摘要： A conspicuity marking system includes a light guide which has at least one optically reflective surface for propagating light through the light guide and a retroreflective light extractor for extracting light propagating through the light guide and for retroreflecting light from an external light source incident upon the system. Light propagating through the light guide which is transmitted into the light extractor is reflected back through the light guide such that it exits the light guide at a location displaced from the retroreflective light extractor. Light from an external light source which is incident on the system passes through the light guide and is retroreflected toward the light source by the retroreflective light extractor.

    摘要： The invention provides a radiation curable release coating composition comprising:(a) about 1 to about 50 percent by weight of a cationically reactive polydiorganosiloxane liquid rubber having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R are monovalent moieties which can be the same or different selected from the group consisting of alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, and substituted aryl wherein at least about 50% of the total number of silicon atoms have two methyl groups bonded thereto;E is an organic monovalent functional group comprising from about 1 to about 20 carbon atoms having at least one cationically co-reactive functional group;a and b both represent integers, wherein the sum of a plus b is an integer of about 10 to about 1200;b has a value ranging from about 0 to about 0.2a;a is an integer of about 10 to about 1000; andM is a silyl group which must contain at least one cationically co-reactive functional group when b=0 and may contain at least one cationically co-reactive group when b is greater than 0;(b) about 50 to about 99 percent by weight of at least one cationically co-reactive monomer copolymerizable with said cationically co-reactive functional group of said polydiorganosiloxane liquid rubber;wherein the percentages of (a) and (b) are based on the total weight of (a) plus (b); and(c) about 0.5 to about 4 parts by weight of a photoactive radiation activatable cationically reactive catalyst based on the weight of (a) plus (b).The invention also provides release coatings and methods of making release coatings.
