Abstract: An acoustic wave device is disclosed. The acoustic wave device includes a support layer, a ceramic layer positioned over the support layer, a piezoelectric layer positioned over the ceramic layer, and an interdigital transducer electrode positioned over the piezoelectric layer. The support layer has a higher thermal conductivity than the ceramic layer. The ceramic layer can be a polycrystalline spinel layer. The acoustic wave device can be a surface acoustic wave device configured to generate a surface acoustic wave.

Abstract: A laterally excited bulk acoustic wave device is disclosed. The laterally excited bulk acoustic wave device can include a first solid acoustic mirror, a second solid acoustic mirror, a piezoelectric layer that is positioned between the first solid acoustic mirror and the second solid acoustic mirror, an interdigital transducer electrode on the piezoelectric layer, and a support substrate arranged to dissipate heat associated with the bulk acoustic wave. The interdigital transducer electrode is arranged to laterally excite a bulk acoustic wave. The first solid acoustic mirror and the second solid acoustic mirror are arranged to confine acoustic energy of the bulk acoustic wave. The first solid acoustic mirror is positioned on the support substrate.

Abstract: A shared-duplexer front end architecture is configured for operation in either of the 5G new radio n1 band or n65 band, while maintaining low spurious emissions in the adjacent n34 band. A front end module can have a first RF signal processing circuit for receiving RF signals from an antenna, and a second RF signal processing circuit for amplifying and transmitting RF signals via the antenna. The first RF signal processing circuit can be connected to the second RF signal processing circuit via a bypass filter circuit configured to short RF noise (particularly signal components within the n34 band) to the first RF signal processing circuit. The bypass filter circuit can be selectively enabled during transmission by the second RF signal processing circuit to effectively eliminate noise components of the RF signal and reduce spurious emissions in the n34 band.

In some embodiments, a ceramic assembly includes a plurality of layers, the assembly including a boundary between a first region and a second region, the assembly further including a selected layer having a plurality of conductive features along the boundary, each conductive feature extending into the first region and the second region such that when the first region and the second region are separated to form their respective side walls, each side wall includes exposed portions of the conductive features capable of forming electrical connection with a conductive shielding layer.

Abstract: Envelope tracking systems with modeling for power amplifier supply voltage filtering are provided herein. In certain embodiments, an envelope tracking system includes a supply voltage filter, a power amplifier that receives a power amplifier supply voltage through the supply voltage filter, and an envelope tracker that generates the power amplifier supply voltage. The power amplifier provides amplification to a radio frequency (RF) signal that is generated based on digital signal data, and the envelope tracker generates the power amplifier supply voltage based on an envelope signal corresponding to an envelope of the RF signal. The envelope tracking system further includes digital modeling circuitry that models the supply voltage filter and operates to digitally compensate the digital signal data for effects of the supply voltage filter, such as distortion.
