摘要： Disclosed are improved lubricants particularly useful for forming metallic articles into desired sizes and shapes based upon operations enhanceable by lubricants. Typical specific working operations are cutting, sawing, grinding, shaping, planing, stamping, drawing, sanding, filing, milling, shearing, machining, and drilling. Preferred lubricant compositions are alkanol mixtures of predominantly normal alcohol and branched primary alcohol structures having predominantly from about 20 to about 34 carbon atoms per molecule, with or most preferably, without other alcohols containing secondary hydroxyl groups or unsaturation ranging from about 14 to about 50 carbon atoms per molecule. The preferred lubricant compositions are characterized by useful residual or film properties for protection of surfaces, particularly those freshly exposed through working when using the lubricants. Such properties are enhanced by the combination of polar and non-polar aspects of the preferred molecules.

摘要： A lubricant composition comprises 5-95% of one or more olefines and 95-5% of one or more compounds Q-X-Z, where R is hydrogen or fluorine; R1 is hydrogen, fluorine, methyl, mono-, di-, or tri-fluoromethyl; R11 is C8 or more linear alkyl or linear fluoro alkyl; X is -O-, -S-, Z is a monovalent unsaturated aliphatic radical R and R1 being as above and n=0 or 1, and Q is a monovalent straight chain C8- 10 alkyl radical wherein when Q has 8 carbon atoms, the olefin contains at least 14 carbon atoms. Lists of suitable compounds are given. The composition may be used alone or added to other lubricants, e.g. mineral oils, diesters, polyesters, silicones and silicate ester oils. Thickeners, e.g. lithium stearate and hydroxystearate, can be added to form greases. Other thickeners are silica gel, carbon black, diatomaceous earth, graphite, molybdenum and tin sulphides, and zinc, tin, lead, copper, alkali metal and alkaline earth, metal soaps of fatty acids. [Also in Group III] An hydraulic fluid comprises a major proportion of an oleaginous liquid ester and minor proportions of an epoxy compound and of an aryl amine containing a plurality of amino-aryl linkages. The epoxy compounds may contain one or more epoxy groups, and may be polymers containing epoxy groups. The arylamines may be diamino diarylalkanes, thiodiarylamines, diarylamines or alkylated phenylene diamines. The oleaginous liquid ester may be an ester of an acid of phosphorus, such as phosphates, phosphonates, phosphinates, diphosphorus compounds and ethers of diphosphorus compounds; an ester of silicic acid; or an ester of a carboxylic acid, such as an ester of mono or polyhydric alcohol with a mono or polybasic acid; or an ester of a silicic, phosphorus or dicarboxylic acid with thia-alcohols or thio-alcohols. Many examples of the epoxy compound, amine and ester are listed. Viscosity index improvers, extreme pressure agents, pour point-depressants and anti-wear agents may also be added to the positions. 摘要： The invention provides a grease composition comprising a base oil consisting of a fluorinated oil and an antirust agent, wherein said antirust agent comprises an aliphatic dibasic acid salt of the formula (1) in an amount of not less than 0.1% by mass and less than 1.0% by mass based on the total mass of the grease composition: (CH2)n(COO)2Mm  (1) wherein n is an integer of 1 to 19, M is an alkali or alkaline earth metal, m is 2 when M is an alkali metal and m is 1 when M is an alkaline earth metal, and a bearing wherein the grease is packed. The grease exerts less effects on the environment. It is low in evaporation loss at a high temperature, shows good antirust property and can be suitably used in a ball bearing operated at a high temperature.
