    摘要: A group of mosquito-borne flaviviruses that cause fatal encephalitis in humans is among the most important of all emerging human pathogens of global significance. This group includes Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV), West Nile virus, St. Louis encephalitis virus, and Murray Valley encephalitis virus. In the present disclosure, the first reverse genetics system has been developed for SA14-14-2, a live JE vaccine that is most commonly used in most JE-endemic areas, by constructing an infectious bacterial artificial chromosome that contains the full-length SA14-14-2 cDNA. Using this infectious SA 14-14-2 cDNA, combined with a mouse model for JEV infection, a key viral neurovirulence factor has been discovered that is a conserved single amino acid in the ij hairpin adjacent to the fusion loop of the viral E glycoprotein, which regulates viral infectivity into neurons within the central nervous system.

    摘要: Disclosed is a silicon-carbon composite for a negative active material of a lithium secondary battery, including carbon nanofibers and silicon particles, wherein the silicon particles are coated with amorphous silica. In the silicon-carbon composite of the invention, silicon is provided in the form of a composite with carbon fibers and the surface of silicon particles is coated with amorphous silica, thereby reducing volume expansion upon lithium ion insertion and exhibiting superior ionic conductivity and electrical conductivity to thus maintain high capacity, and also, amorphous silica-coated silicon is positioned inside the carbon fibers having a one-dimensional structure, thus ensuring a large specific surface area and a stable composite structure.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for allowing a user to dynamically enjoy a video. A difference between image data is computed at every preset unit of time and a vibration corresponding to the computed difference is generated so that the user can sense a motion change of an object within the video. Upon video reproduction, scenes are displayed by applying the lighting effect of a strobe light or the like between the scenes to be reproduced. Upon video reproduction, more enjoyment and various haptic effects can be provided to the user.

    摘要: Disclosed is a vibration module for a portable terminal that includes a housing, a magnetic moving part movable in a first direction within the housing; an elastic member supported between the opposite ends of the magnetic moving part and inner walls of the housing, and a solenoid coil provided in the housing. The vibration module is positioned at one end of the moving section by the magnetic force of the magnetic moving part and an object around the magnetic moving part, allowing the vibration module to provide a user with a feeling similar to a click feeling via the acceleration produced at a stopping instant. In addition, when vibrating, the vibration module generates sufficient vibration power through acceleration at the instant of changing moving direction at the ends of the moving section, to provide an alarm function, such as an incoming call notification.
