摘要: An apparatus comprises an arrhythmia detection circuit configured to: detect atrial arrhythmia in a first portion of a sensed cardiac signal using a first arrhythmia detection criteria, wherein the sensed cardiac signal is representative of cardiac activity of a subject; and upon detection of the atrial arrhythmia, analyze a second portion of the cardiac signal that is prior in time to the first portion using a second different arrhythmia detection criteria to detect the presence or absence of the atrial arrhythmia in the second portion of the cardiac signal.

摘要: A method and implantable medical device for determining a flutter event in response to a cardiac signal that includes sensing the cardiac signal, determining a sensing window in response to the sensed cardiac signal, the sensing window having a first portion and a second portion. A first derivative signal and a second derivative signal are determined in response to the sensed cardiac signal within the first portion and the second portion of the sensing window, and a sum of amplitudes of the second derivative signal within one or both of the first portion and the second portion of the sensing window is determined, and the flutter event is determined in response to the determined sum of amplitudes.

摘要: Embodiments include an epicardial heart stimulator that includes a housing and electric components arranged in the housing. The electric components include a stimulation unit, a stimulation control unit, and at least one stimulation electrode on the housing. The stimulation electrode is connected to the stimulation unit and to the stimulation control unit. The stimulation unit provides electric energy that corresponds to a stimulation pulse and delivers the stimulation pulse via the stimulation electrode upon a corresponding trigger signal of the stimulation control unit. The epicardial heart stimulator includes a sensing electrode on the housing that senses electric potentials and that is electrically connected to a sensing unit in the housing. The sensing unit is connected to the stimulation control unit. The stimulation control unit, in a corresponding operating mode, controls the delivery of a respective trigger signal in accordance with an output signal of the sensing unit.

摘要: A system for detecting an atrial tachyarrhythmia episode includes a medical device having sensing circuitry configured to receive a cardiac electrical signal from electrodes coupled to the medical device and a processor configured to detect an atrial tachyarrhythmia episode in response to a time duration of the cardiac electrical signal classified as an atrial tachyarrhythmia being greater than or equal to a first detection threshold. The processor is configured to determine if detection threshold adjustment criteria are met based on at least the detected first atrial tachyarrhythmia episode and adjust the first detection threshold to a second detection threshold different than the first detection threshold in response to the detection threshold adjustment criteria being met.

摘要: A cardiac medical system, such as an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) system, receives a cardiac electrical signal by and senses cardiac events when the signal crosses an R-wave sensing threshold. The system determines at least one sensed event parameter from the cardiac electrical signal for consecutive cardiac events sensed by the sensing circuit and compares the sensed event parameters to P-wave oversensing criteria. The system detects P-wave oversensing in response to the sensed event parameters meeting the P-wave oversensing criteria; and adjusts at least one of an R-wave sensing control parameter or a therapy delivery control parameter in response to detecting the P-wave oversensing.

摘要: Systems, apparatus, methods and computer-readable storage media that facilitate monitoring the integrity of telemetry connectivity between an implantable device and an external device are provided. In one embodiment, an implantable device includes a monitoring component that monitors advertisement signal information identifying an amount of advertisement signals transmitted to the external device within a defined time period, and telemetry session information identifying an amount of the telemetry sessions that are established between the external device and the implantable device within the defined time period. A connectivity assessment component of the implantable device further determines whether a telemetry connectivity problem exists between the external device and the implantable device based on a degree of miscorrelation between the advertisement signal information and the telemetry session information.

摘要: A device includes a signal generator module, a processing module, and a housing. The signal generator module is configured to deliver pacing pulses to an atrium. The processing module is configured to detect a ventricular activation event and determine a length of an interval between the ventricular activation event and a previous atrial event that preceded the ventricular activation event. The processing module is further configured to schedule a time at which to deliver a pacing pulse to the atrium based on the length of the interval and control the signal generator module to deliver the pacing pulse at the scheduled time. The housing is configured for implantation within the atrium. The housing encloses the stimulation generator and the processing module.
