摘要: An aerospace structure and method for its construction composed of two elements having mutually opposed mating surfaces, at least one of which is irregular. The mating surfaces of the elements are fastened and compressed against a noncompressible cast-in-place void filler having complimentary shape to the two mating surfaces. The void filler is prepared by admixing a polymerizing matrix selected from polyesters, epoxides, polyamides, polyimides, polycarbonates, polyvinyl alcohols and organosilicone polymers and a space filling material selected from phenolic microspheres, carbon microspheres, metal coated microspheres, chopped fiberglass, alumina, fumed silica and mixtures thereof.

摘要: A vinyl chloride resin composition made lightweight and delustered and having a superior abrasion resistance and a good microballoon-retainability, and molded products such as steering wheel using the same are provided, which composition comprises 100 parts by weight (hereinafter "by weight" omitted) of a vinyl chloride copolymer consisting of 97.0.about.99.95% of vinyl chloride and 3.0 to 0.05% of a polyethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate having a specified number of ethylene glycol polymerization units and a specified average polymerization degree, 5 to 100 parts of microballoons having a specified s.g., particle diameter and compressive strength, 1 to 20 parts of polyvinyl acetate having a specified average polymerization degree and 30 to 150 parts of a plasticizer.

摘要: Disclosed is a granular stabilizer for chlorine-containing polymers, which comprises porous spherical particles composed of randomly integrated needle crystals of a polybasic sulfuric acid/fatty acid lead salt having a chemical composition of 1 mole of SO.sub.3, 3.7 to 4.5 moles of PbO and 0.06 to 1.27 moles of a higher fatty acid and also having X-ray diffraction peaks at spacings d of 2.95 A and 3.27 A, wherein the fatty acid component is enrolled in the surfaces of the respective needle crystals without substantial phase separation in the surfaces of the spherical particles.
