摘要: A three-way catalyst is disclosed. The three-way catalyst comprises a palladium component comprising palladium and a ceria-zirconia-alumina mixed or composite oxide, and also comprises a rhodium component comprising rhodium and a zirconia-containing material. The palladium component and the rhodium component are coated onto a silver-containing extruded molecular sieve substrate. The invention also includes an exhaust system comprising the three-way catalyst. The three-way catalyst results in improved hydrocarbon storage and conversion, in particular during the cold start period.

摘要: Catalyst compositions comprising a phosphorous-promoted ZSM-5 component and a silica-containing binder, and methods for making and using same, are disclosed. More, specifically, processes for making a catalyst for biomass conversion are provided. The process includes: treating a ZSM-5 zeolite with a phosphorous-containing compound to form a phosphorous-promoted ZSM-5 component; preparing a slurry comprising the phosphorous-promoted ZSM-5 component and a silica-containing binder; and shaping the slurry into shaped bodes. Such catalysts can be used for the Thermocatalytic conversion of particulate biomass to liquid products such as bio-oil, resulting in higher bio-oil yields and lower coke than conventional catalysts.

摘要: The invention concerns a process for the preparation of an amorphous mesoporous and macroporous alumina, comprising at least one step for dissolving an acidic precursor of aluminium, a step for adjusting the pH by adding at least one basic precursor to the suspension obtained in step a), a step for co-precipitation of the suspension obtained at the end of step b) by adding at least one basic precursor and at least one acidic precursor to the suspension, a filtration step, a drying step, a shaping step and a heat treatment step.The invention also concerns an amorphous mesoporous and macroporous alumina with a bimodal pore structure having: a specific surface area SBET of more than 100 m2/g; a median mesopore diameter, by volume determined by mercury intrusion porosimetry, of 18 nm or more; a median macropore diameter, by volume determined by mercury intrusion porosimetry, in the range 100 to 1200 nm, limits included; a mesopore volume, as measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry, of 0.7 mL/g or more; and a total pore volume, as measured by mercury porosimetry, of 0.8 mL/g or more.

摘要: The present invention relates to a catalyst based on iron oxide for the dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons and also a process for producing it. The catalyst comprises at least one iron compound, at least one potassium compound and at least one cerium compound, wherein the at least one iron compound and the at least one potassium compound are at least partly present in the form of one or more K/Fe mixed oxide phases of the general formula KxFeyOz, where x is from 1 to 17; y is from 1 to 22 and z is from 2 to 34, where the catalyst comprises at least 20% by weight, based on the total catalyst, of the K/Fe mixed oxide phases and comprises crystalline cerium dioxide having a crystallite size in the range from 10 nm to 30 nm.

摘要: A method is provided for fabricating a catalyst carrier. At first, aluminum hydroxide is used for forming an alumina powder. The alumina powder is mixed with carbon nanotubes and a complex additive to be shaped into a cake. The cake is kneaded into a noodle-like shape to be hot-dried. Then, calcination is processed in a furnace under 1200 celsius degrees (° C.) with air passed through. The crystal structure remains without phase change. A catalyst carrier of α-alumina having nano-scaled pores is formed. The catalyst carrier is a powdery material made into different three-dimensional forms. The catalyst carrier thus fabricated is suitable for generating hydrogen through methane reformation. The catalyst carrier has a methane conversion greater than 99 percents. The catalyst carrier will not be crumbled under 800° C. for 4000 hours without carbon deposit.

摘要: This invention relates to a process of preparing a catalyst from zeolite and peptized alumina. The invention comprises adding a yttrium compound to the zeolite, either prior to, during, or after its combination with the peptized alumina. The yttrium compound can be added to the zeolite via exchange of yttrium onto the zeolite prior to addition of peptized alumina, or the yttrium can be added as a soluble salt during the combination of the zeolite and peptized alumina. In either embodiment, the zeolite catalyst is then formed from the zeolite, yttrium and peptized alumina, optionally containing other inorganic oxide. This invention is suitable for preparing fluid cracking catalysts.

摘要: A new chromium-containing fluorination catalyst is described. The catalyst comprises an amount of zinc that promotes activity. The zinc is contained in aggregates which have a size across their largest dimension of up to 1 micron. The aggregates are distributed throughout at least the surface region of the catalyst and greater than 40 weight % of the aggregates contain a concentration of zinc that is within ±1 weight % of the modal concentration of zinc in those aggregates.
