摘要: A vehicle control device includes a first recognizer configured to recognize a surrounding situation of a vehicle including a first marking, a second recognizer configured to recognize a second marking relating to a lane near the vehicle from map information, a driving controller, and a mode decider. It is determined whether or not there is interference between a specific region set on the basis of the second marking and a position of the preceding vehicle when the first marking is not recognized and the preceding vehicle is recognized. A driving mode is changed from the first driving mode to the second driving mode when it is determined that the preceding vehicle interferes with the specific region. A width of the specific region is variably set in accordance with at least one of an inter-vehicle distance between the vehicle and the preceding vehicle and a road's curvature where the vehicle travels.

摘要: A driving assistance apparatus assists in driving of a vehicle. The driving assistance apparatus includes one or more processors and one or more memories communicably coupled to the one or more processors. The one or more processors execute: a blind spot region detection process of detecting a blind spot region as viewed from the vehicle formed by a blind spot forming object, based on data regarding a surrounding environment of the vehicle; a mobile body detection process of detecting a mobile body that has entered the blind spot region from outside the blind spot region, based on the data regarding the surrounding environment of the vehicle; and a contact risk estimation process of estimating a risk of contact between the vehicle and the mobile body, based on a movement direction and a movement speed of the mobile body, and a temporal change in the blind spot region.

摘要: An approach is provided for a runaway vehicle detection system. The approach, for example, involves processing sensor data to detect that a vehicle is involved in or predicted to be involved in a runaway vehicle event. The approach also involves processing map data, the sensor data, or a combination thereof to determine a runaway vehicle safety location based on at least one attribute of the vehicle. The approach further involves generating an alert message indicating the runaway vehicle safety location. The approach further involves providing the alert message for display on a device associated with the vehicle. In one embodiment, the approach further involves mapping the runaway vehicle safety location, the runaway vehicle event, or a combination thereof to digital map of a geographic database.

摘要: Systems, methods and/or computer program products for improving autonomous vehicle operation by enabling communication between the autonomous vehicles and BCI systems publishing signals from nearby pedestrians. Wearable BCI devices worn by pedestrians analyze brainwave signals and classify the brainwave signals in order to filter out signals that are unrelated to crossing the street or the directionality of travel by the pedestrian. BCI devices publish, or broadcast brain wave signals related to crossing the street or directionality of travel to the surrounding area where autonomous vehicle receive and process the brainwave signals being published. The autonomous vehicles predict movements of nearby pedestrians based on the intended direction of travel signified by the collected brainwave signals, and the autonomous vehicles select driving actions in response to the anticipated movements of nearby pedestrians.

摘要: An automatic cruise control system on a motorcycle capable of performing an overtake maneuver via a long button press. The automatic cruise control includes a radar, a button, and a motorcycle speed. The radar is configured to detect objects in front of the motorcycle and generate data regarding the detected object. The button is configured to generate a button signal. The radar is further configured to receive the motorcycle speed, sensor data, and a button signal, and to generate an acceleration signal based upon the sensor data, the button signal, and the motorcycle speed.

摘要: An erratic driver detection system for a host vehicle. The system includes a sensor configured to measure a distance between the host vehicle and a detected neighboring vehicle, and output sensor data. The system also includes an electronic processor connected to the sensor and configured to build an expected driving behavior model and a target driving behavior model corresponding to the detected neighboring vehicle based on the sensor data. The target driving behavior model includes past, present, and predicted trajectories of the detected neighboring vehicle. The electronic processor is also configured to determine a difference between the target driving behavior model and the expected driving behavior model, identify an instance of erratic driving with respect to the detected neighboring vehicle based on the difference. In response to identifying the instance of erratic driving, the electronic processor controls the vehicle to perform a safety action.

摘要: An autonomous driving control method for stopping a host vehicle such that an inter-vehicle distance to a preceding vehicle is a predetermined at-stopping inter-vehicle distance includes: executing first stop control of setting the at-stopping inter-vehicle distance to a first at-stopping inter-vehicle distance shorter than a predetermined basic at-stopping inter-vehicle distance when a stop position of the host vehicle is within a forward stop limit area set in front of a crossing lane, and/or executing second stop control of setting the at-stopping inter-vehicle distance to a second at-stopping inter-vehicle distance longer than the basic at-stopping inter-vehicle distance when the stop position of the host vehicle is within a rearward stop limit area set behind the crossing lane.

摘要: Techniques described herein leverage existing localization sensors or V2X devices to detect one or more other vehicles that include wireless systems that can interfere with in-vehicle wireless networks. The localization sensors or V2X devices can provide information to determine a location, a heading, a speed, a size, and a type of other vehicles. This information can be used to determine a probability of network interference and allow the in-vehicle wireless networks to employ one or more techniques to mitigate the effects of the interference. The interference mitigation techniques can include increasing or decreasing transmitter power, changing a frequency or a channel of a wireless transmitter, or activating one or more additional transmitters as relays to improve reliability.
