A method for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium having a magnetically-separated magnetic recording pattern MP, the method at least including; a first step of forming a first magnetic layer 11 on a non-magnetic substrate 10; a second step of forming a resist layer 12 on the first magnetic layer 11, the resist layer 12 being patterned in correspondence with the magnetic recording pattern MP; a third step of forming a second magnetic layer 13 so as to cover a surface of the first magnetic layer 11 having the resist layer 12 formed thereon; a fourth step of removing the resist layer 12 together with the second magnetic layer 13 formed thereon; and a fifth step of partially removing the first magnetic layer 11 or partially modifying magnetic property of the first magnetic layer 11.
Abstract:
A conventional semiconductor device has a problem that reduction of a connection resistance value between wiring layers is difficult because of an oxide film formed between the wiring layers. In a semiconductor device of this invention, a first metal layer is embeded in opening regions which connect a first wiring layer and a second wiring layer and an opening is formed in a spin coated resin film formed on the first metal layer. In the opening, a Cr layer forming a plating metal layer and a Cu plated layer are connected to each other. With this structure, the spaces among crystal grains in portions in the Cr layer on the first metal layer are wide, which causes the portions to be coarse. In the coarse portions in the Cr layer, an alloy layer formed of the second metal layer and the Cu plated layer is formed, and thus, the connection resistance value is reduced.

In the imaging apparatus of the invention, a camera assembly 200 including a camera 202 is mounted on and supported by a base 110 in a pivotally rotatable manner in a vertical direction to allow tilting motions of the camera 202. First through fourth rollers 141 through 144 provided in an assembly fixation structure 114 of the base 110 support the camera assembly 200 to allow pivotal rotation of the camera assembly 200. The driving force of a tilting motor 160 built in a pedestal plate unit 130 of the assembly fixation structure 114 is transmitted to frame side faces of the camera assembly 200 via a tilting worm gear shaft 170 and a tilting rotation gear 172 to allow the tilting motions of the camera frame 200. This arrangement of the invention enables further downsizing of the whole imaging apparatus applied to, for example, a security camera.
Abstract:
A method for producing a magnetic recording medium having a magnetically partitioned magnetic recording pattern on at least one surface of a nonmagnetic substrate, characterized by comprising a step of reacting portions of a magnetic layer, formed on the non-magnetic substrate, with ozone to modify magnetic properties of said portions of the magnetic layer for forming the magnetically partitioned magnetic recording pattern. The magnetic layer can be a two-layer structure comprising a magnetic layer having a granular structure and formed thereon a magnetic layer having a non-granular structure. The produced magnetic recording medium exhibits a greatly enhanced recording density while recording/reproducing characteristics equal to or better than those of the heretofore proposed magnetic recording mediums are maintained, and it can be produced with an enhanced efficiency.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a phosphor having high luminance, which is composed of M1, M2, M3, M4, a halogen element and O, wherein M1 represents an alkaline earth metal; M2 represents a trivalent metal element; M3 represents an activating element; and M4 represents a tetravalent metal element, with the molar ratio among M1, (M2+M3), M4, and the halogen element, namely M1:(M2+M3):M4: halogen element being 1:4:3:a wherein a is a number within the range of not less than 0.01 but not more than 3. The phosphor can be obtained by firing a metal compound mixture containing M1, M2, M3, M4, and a halogen element, wherein M1, M2, M3 and M4 are as defined above, which additionally contains one or more halides selected from the group consisting of halides of M1, halides of M2 and halides of M3.
