摘要： The present invention relates to an examination apparatus for providing information about an object and a method for providing information about an object of interest. In order to improve the visual reception of information relating to the object, an examination apparatus is provided that comprises an examination arrangement and a control unit with at least a first interface and a second interface. The examination arrangement is adapted to detect object data from at least one region of interest of an object and to provide the object data to the control unit. Further, the control unit is adapted to compute object data into object information and to transform at least a part of the object information into image data (32, 36). Further, the control unit is arranged to extract pre-determined indicative data from the object information and to transform the indicative data into graphical advisory data (40). The first interface is configured such to provide the image data to a display unit (20) in order to display the image data (32, 36) to the user. The second interface is configured such to provide a signal for an ambient advice display arrangement in order to provide the graphical advisory data (40) to the user.

摘要： The present invention relates to an examination apparatus for providing information about an object and a method for providing information about an object of interest. In order to improve the visual reception of information relating to the object, an examination apparatus is provided that comprises an examination arrangement and a control unit with at least a first interface and a second interface. The examination arrangement is adapted to detect object data from at least one region of interest of an object and to provide the object data to the control unit. 摘要： The invention relates to a medical imaging apparatus for providing information about an object. The invention further relates to a method for providing information about an object. In order to improve the preparation and the visual reception of information relating to an object during medical interventions, a medical imaging apparatus for providing information about an object is provided that comprises an image acquisition device an interventional device, a processing device and a display device. The image acquisition device detects object data from at least one region of interest of an object and provides the object data to the processing device. The interventional device detects physiological parameters of the object depending on the position of a predetermined area of the interventional device in relation to the object and provides the physiological parameters to the processing device. Further, the processing device transforms at least a part of the object data into image data and converts the physiological parameters into physiological data. The processing device then modifies at least one image parameter of the image data depending on the physiological data and thereby transforms the image data into modified live image data which is provided to the display device displaying a modified live image.

The ablation device (1) is adapted for detecting physiological information of tissue (27, 29, 31) surrounding an ablation site (33) based on measurement values provided by the sensors. E.g., optical sensors may be used to measure a reflectance spectrum indicating whether the adjacent tissue is healthy tissue (31), tumorous tissue (27) or ablated tissue (29). Using such information, an ablation process may be controlled.

摘要： Needles equipped with fibres allow tissue inspection based on optical spectroscopy to diagnose whether tissue is cancerous or not. This requires integration of optical fibers into needles. The problem is how to manufacture the needle having at least one fiber exit at the distal end of the needle, where the fiber does not obstruct the hollow part of the needle if present as well as does not extend beyond the outer cylinder geometry. To solve this problem we propose to manufacture the needle consisting of four parts: an inner cylinder tube, an outer hollow cylinder tube, a needle tip part with integrated fiber exit and a holder part, wherein the hollow spacing between the inner and the outer cylinder is larger or equal to the outer diameter of the fibers, the inner and the outer cylinder are mounted in the holder part and where the tip part is mounted on the two cylinders.

摘要： An apparatus, system and method for determining a position includes a transducer device (102) configured to receive signals from a console (104) and generate images based upon reflected waves. A flexible cable (108) is coupled to the transducer device to provide excitation energy to the transducer device from the console. An optical fiber (110) has a shape and position corresponding to a shape and position of the cable during operation. A plurality of sensors (122) is in optical communication with the optical fiber. The sensors are configured to measure deflections and bending in the optical fiber such that the deflections and bending in the optical fiber are employed to determine positional information about the transducer device.
