Abstract: A driving device includes a switching power supply circuit to convert input power to output power; a first switching element which opens and closes a circuit of a load; an output capacitor connected in parallel to the load and the first switching element; a selection switch disposed between the inductor and the output capacitor, the selection switch switching between a first selection state where the load is electrically connected to the inductor and the second selection state where a reference potential portion is electrically connected to the inductor; a timing controller which operates the switching power supply circuit while the first switching element is closed; and a controller which puts the selection switch into the second selection state before the first switching element is closed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a data processing device including: at least one processor that executes a program stored in at least one memory; and a timer that repeatedly and continuously counts a setting time. The processor acquires data indicating a battery state, judges occurrence of an event, executes processing based on data acquired in the setting time when judging that the event has not occurred between start and end of counting for one setting time, and executes at least one of a first operation of performing the processing based on data from the counting start to a stop timing based on the event occurrence and a second operation of performing the processing based on data from a start timing based on an event occurrence timing to end of counting for one setting time when judging that the event has occurred between the start and the end of the counting.

Abstract: It becomes possible to succeed in restarting a power supply unit.
A power supply circuit includes the power supply unit which supplies DC power to a CPU, a switch which operates to cause a short-circuit to occur between a DC power supply and an input terminal of the power supply unit or to open a connection between the DC power supply and the input terminal of the power supply unit, a temperature measurement unit which measures a temperature and a processor which controls the switch to open the connection in a case of deciding that the DC power is not supplied to the CPU even when controlling the switch to cause the short-circuit to occur and controls the switch to cause the short-circuit to occur after a predetermined time elapses after controlling the switch to open the connection. The predetermined time is set on the basis of the temperature that the temperature measurement unit measures.

Abstract: Disclosed is a charge protection circuit including: a switch that switches between allowing and not allowing power supply from an external power source to a charging circuit that supplies power for charging a rechargeable battery; a detector that detects at least one of a current flowing from the charging circuit to the rechargeable battery and a voltage between two electrodes of the rechargeable battery; a determiner that determines whether a detection result of the detector is abnormal; and a controller that, in response to the determiner determining that the detection result of the detector is abnormal, causes the switch to switch to an interrupting state so as to interrupt power supply to the charging circuit.
