    摘要: A system for monitoring the operation of a multichannel receiver includes a channel monitor coupled to the sync separator of the receiver for collecting and transmitting channel information to a central collector station. The collector station selectively responds to one of a plurality of channel monitors to record, in sequential order, channel information. Each of the channel monitors is similar and includes a synchronizing pulse generator triggered by the vertical synchronizing pulse from a receiver to generate a match recognize pulse when a frequency coupled to the receiver from the monitor and the channel frequency have a preestablished relationship. To generate the match recognize pulse a counter provides signals to a tuning matrix that controls a frequency synthesizer or plurality of oscillators for generating the frequency coupled to the receiver for the match evaluation. Also, the counter activates a data encoder that provides channel information to the collector station. The collector station responds to the channel information and records incoming data for future evaluation of the operation of the multichannel receiver.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for reducing hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)] in aqueous solutions to trivalent chromium [Cr(III)] by reacting a catalyzed hydrazine composition with the hexavalent chromium at a pH in the range from about 6.0 to about 8.0 to form an aqueous slurry of trivalent chromium compound, said catalyzed hydrazine composition comprising(a) a hydrazine compound,(b) at least 0.0005 parts by weight of a quinone compound per one part of hydrazine compound; and, preferably;(c) at least about 0.0005 parts by weight of an organometallic complex per part of hydrazine compound, said organometallic complex being the reaction product of:(i) a hydroxide selected from the group consisting of cobaltous hydroxide and manganous hydroxide; and(ii) at least one organic ligand selected from the group consisting of unsubstituted and substituted amino derivatives of carboxylic acids and salts thereof.The solid particles of trivalent chromium may then be separated from the aqueous solution by conventional means (e.g., filtration).

    摘要: An electrochemical cell or battery uses iron gall ink as an electrolyte. In some examples, mold, bacteria, or yeast are allowed to grow on the electrolyte. The ink is made by combining tannic or gallic acid from a material such as dehydrated tea with a metal or transition metal sulfate, such as iron sulfate, potassium sulfate, or manganese sulfate. Urea, a metal or transition metal salt, and glycerin can also be added to the electrolyte to assist in the ion-producing reaction. One example includes electrodes made from iron and graphite, and an electrolyte of iron-gall or iron-tannate ink. Another example uses a manganese based ink. Aluminum, potassium, or sodium tannate ink, urea, and graphite can be used to make a metal-air cell, in which the cell is open to the air. The ink can be used as a charge transport in a redox-flow electrochemical cell. Yet another example utilizes Bauxite residue, a waste product of aluminum manufacture. The Bauxite is used to form an ink and used in cells similar to those described above.

    摘要: A document encryption and decryption system and method for selectively encrypting and decrypting files and attachments, electronic mail, text messages, and any other items to protect or secure its contents by helping to prevent unauthorized individuals from viewing data in human-perceivable or readable form. The encryption and decryption system includes remote authentication to verify user credentials stored on a remote database hosted by a web server. The encryption system further includes remote deletion to automatically delete at least encrypted items stored on the user's computer, handheld or portable device, smartphone, tablet, and any other computer of any kind when enabled and logged onto a network. The encryption and decryption system includes selectively decrypting items by retrieving a decryption key and decrypting the item, and/or typing a decryption key if the item cannot be decrypted with the key, and/or sending an invitation to a recipient using the web server.
