    摘要: There is disclosed a cross-linked polymer solid electrolyte and a method of manufacturing the same. A crosslinking agent is added to a block-graft copolymer composed of a polymer block chain A represented by formula I and a polymer block chain B represented by formula II; a high energy ray is irradiated to the block-graft polymer in order to crosslink the entire system; and an nonaqueous electrolytic solution is added to the block-graft polymer. There is also disclosed a composite solid electrolyte for use in a solid electrochemical element. The composite solid electrolyte includes an electrically insulating material, an alkali metal salt, a block-graft copolymer composed of a polymer block chain A represented by formula I and a polymer block chain B represented by formula II, and an aprotic organic solvent. ##STR1##

    摘要: A crosslinked solid polymer electrolyte is prepared by adding a reactive polyalkylene oxide and an inorganic lithium salt to a block-graft copolymer comprising first and second block chains, and subjecting the reactive polyalkylene oxide to crosslinking reaction. The crosslinked solid polymer electrolyte has a high ionic conductivity and can be readily formed into a tough film and is thus suited for use in large-size secondary batteries.

    摘要: The substrate for xanthine oxidase such as xanthine, hypoxanthine, guanine, 2-hydroxypurine, etc. are determined by oxidizing the substrate by the action of xanthine oxidase derived from a microorganism and determining the formed hydrogen peroxide by the system for the determination of hydrogen peroxide comprising peroxidase and coloring reagent.The determination is carried out in one step by using the test composition for the determination of the substrate for xanthine oxidase which comprises xanthine oxidase and a system for the determination of hydrogen peroxide.The determination method can be applied to the determination of the compound which participates in the system wherein the substrate is stoichiometrically formed by the reaction or decomposition. When the system is an enzymatic reaction, the compound is determined in one step.Xanthine oxidase used in the present invention is different from known xanthine oxidase in molecular weight and is prepared by culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Enterobacter.

    摘要: A vibration wave driving device includes a vibrating member that generates a vibration therein, and a rotary member which is in press-contact with the vibrating member and is rotated relative to the vibrating member by the vibration. The rotary member includes an external output portion located at approximately a center of rotation, a contact portion, and a radial compression portion that connects the external output portion and the contact portion and generates a compression force between the contact portion and the vibrating member. The thickness of the compression portion becomes larger from a middle portion toward the contact portion and from the middle portion toward the output portion.

    摘要: An object of this invention is to provide a bearing device for an electric motor in which a bearing holder holding an oil-impregnated bearing provides good area contact from the beginning and can be readily formed with high productivity. In the bearing device for an electric motor in which a bearing-supporting cylindrical recess is formed in one end face of a bearing holder in the form of a hollow cylinder, and an oil-impregnated bearing having a shaft-inserting hole is fixedly fitted in the bearing-supporting cylindrical recess in such a manner that the shaft-inserting hole of the oil-impregnated bearing is inclined with respect to the central axis P of the bearing holder; the bearing-supporting cylindrical recess of the bearing holder is defined by a cylindrical surface whose diameter is slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the oil-impregnated bearing and which is in parallel with the central axis P of the bearing holder, and an abutting annular surface inclined with respect to the central axis P, and the oil-impregnated bearing is arranged inclined in the bearing-supporting cylindrical recess being abutted against the abutting annular surface.
