    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having a liquid crystal display portion, a gate driver circuit, a source driver circuit, and a power supply circuit, where the liquid crystal display portion includes unit pixels with pixel switching elements and pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix. The pixel switching elements are thin film transistors that are made of polycrystalline silicon semiconductor formed on an insulating substrate. The power supply circuit is a charge pump-type power supply circuit, is made of a polycrystalline silicon semiconductor, and is a built-in circuit integrally formed on an insulating substrate. With such a configuration, a liquid crystal display device that greatly reduces power consumption is realized.

    摘要: A unit pixel (10) includes a plurality of current controlling elements (Tr2a–Tr2d) having controlling terminal and connected to a single EL element (11), and switching elements (Tr1a–Tr1d) provided to the respective current controlling elements in order to switch between application and cutoff of a digital image signal with respect to the controlling terminals in accordance with the condition of a scanning signal. Each of the current controlling elements is controlled by a voltage of the digital image signal so as to take an OFF state for cutting off a supply of a driving current to the EL element or an ON state for supplying the EL element with a driving current corresponding to the voltage of the digital image signal, and a value of the current flowing in the EL element is the sum value of currents supplied from the respective current controlling elements in the ON state. Based on a combination of the current controlling elements in the ON state, the current supplied to the EL element is controlled to be a value corresponding to the gradation.

    摘要: An EL display device 1 includes a display portion 2 having unit pixels 10 arranged in a matrix, a source line driver circuit 6, and a gate line driver circuit 4. Each of the unit pixels 10 has an EL element 11, a switching transistor Tr1, a driver transistor Tr2, and an auxiliary capacitor 13. The auxiliary capacitor 13 has electrodes, one connected to a gate electrode of the transistor Tr2 and the other to a next gate line GL. The gate line driver circuit 4 outputs, via the next gate line GL, blanking signals for forcibly stopping a light-emitting state of the EL elements 11, within hold times in which the voltages written to the gate electrodes of the transistors Tr2 are held. With such a configuration, a blanking period where the EL elements do not emit light, is inserted in one frame.

    摘要: A moving member 2 is rotatably and slidably arranged in a holder 11 having a spherical inner surface 11a. An inertia body 5 is connected to the moving member 2 via a supporting member 4. At a location opposite the inertia body 5, an arm 3 extends so that it is directed outwardly via an opening of the holder. A piezo electric actuator 63 is arranged between the rotating member 2 and the supporting member 4. An elongation of the actuator causes a relative swing movement between the inertia body 5 and moving member to occur in one direction such that a reaction force in the moving member 2 due to the inertia of the inertia body 5 exceeds the frictional force between the moving member 4 and the holder 11, which allows the moving member 4 to be displaced with respect to the holder 11. A contraction of the actuator causes a relative movement between the inertia body 5 and moving member to occur in the opposite direction such that a reaction force in the moving member 2 does not exceed the frictional force, which allows the inertia body to follow with the actuator 63. A reception of the elongation and the contraction allows a movement of the moving member to occur so that it exceeds the limit of the bonding movement of the actuator.
