    摘要: A supporting mechanism for a transmission shaft in an automatic transmission apparatus for use in a vehicle, wherein said shaft is rotatably supported at both end portions (1A), (1C) and at the intermediate portion (1B), and the amount of play of said shaft at said intermediate portion is set greater than those at the end portions, with a view to preventing oscillation of the shaft at the intermediate portion between the supporting points and favorably overcoming difficulty in assembly work, e.g., centering associated with supporting at three points. A supporting mechanism for supporting a transmission shaft in an automatic transmission apparatus for use in a vehicle, comprising an input-side transmission shaft (14) and an output shaft (1) arranged coaxially in series with said input-side transmission shaft (14), wherein said output shaft (1) is rotatably supported through the rear end of said input-side transmission shaft (14) by a transmission case at its input-side end and is rotatably supported by the transmission case at its output-side end, with a view to favorably preventing oscillation at the input-side end of the output shaft and shortening the axial length of the entire transmission shaft.

The hydraulic servo essentially comprises: an annular drum splined with a sleeve portion of the inner race of the one-way clutch and arranged to receive the reaction of the one-way clutch by a fixed member in the automatic transmission case; a piston fitted in the annular drum; and a return spring mounted in the drum for returning the piston.

The hydraulic servo of the invention is compact in construction and reduced particularly in axial dimensions, and essentially comprises: an annular drum rotatably or fixedly mounted in a transmission case and having a press-formed annular plate member with an first cylinder portion and a second cylinder member joined to the first cylinder portion by fully encircling welding; a piston fitted between the first cylinder portion and the second cylinder member; and a reaction area formed by extending the annular plate member of the drum radially inward to support return springs.

    摘要: A support for an automatic transmission. The support has a tubular supporting portion having an inner peripheral surface supporting a transmission shaft and an outer peripheral surface supporting an inner cylindrical portion of a hydraulic servo drum of the transmission. The support has working oil passages formed therein and adapted for supplying and discharging a working oil to and from the hydraulic servo drum. The support has a support body including a first oil passage leading from an oil pressure controller for supplying and discharging working oil and communicating with the inner periphery of the tubular supporting portion, a second oil passage providing a communication between the outer periphery and the inner periphery of the tubular supporting portion and an inner oil groove providing a communication between inner peripheral openings of the first and second oil passages. The support further has an inner sleeve fitting on the inner peripheral surface of the tubular supporting portion to cover the oil groove thereby forming an oil passage for working oil, and an outer sleeve fitting on the outer periphery of the tubular supporting portion, the outer sleeve being provided with a sleeve hole aligned with a working oil port formed in the inner cylindrical portion of the hydraulic servo drum and communicating with an outer peripheral opening of the second oil passage. The outer sleeve is further provided in the outer peripheral surface thereof with ring grooves formed at both sides of the sleeve hole and adapted to receive seal rings.

    摘要: A direct coupling clutch being assembled within a casing of a fluid coupling having an impeller mounted on the casing and a turbine rotatably supported within the casing. The direct coupling clutch includes a piston slidably mounted on a turbine hub in axial direction for engaging with and disengaging from a front cover of the casing and a unitary assembled damper device provided between the hub and piston. The damper device includes a driven plate consisting of two annular guide plates positioned concentrically with each other, an annular drive plate interposed between the guide plates and being slidable with respect to the guide plates in circumferential direction and two sets of coil springs arranged in double rows along two concentric circles between the guide plates and being compressed by relative rotation of the drive and driven plates. The damper device is unitary assembled by securing the guide plates with each other and is capable to fixedly connect to one member of either turbine hub or piston by one plate of either drive plate or driven plate and to axially slidably connect to another member by another plate.

    摘要: A direct coupling clutch being assembled within a casing of a fluid coupling having an impeller mounted on the casing and a turbine supported on an output shaft of the fluid coupling. The direct coupling clutch includes a piston mounted slidably on a turbine hub in axial direction for engaging with and disengaging from a front cover of the casing and a damper device resiliently connecting the turbine hub and piston. The damper device includes an annular driven plate consisting of two guide plates secured concentrically with each other and having a first set and a second set of spaces arranged in double rows along two concentric circles, an annular drive plate having a set of openings arranged in a row along a first circle, a set of projections arranged in a row along a second circle, a first coil spring inserted in each of the first set of spaces and within each of the set of openings and a second coil spring inserted in each of the second set of spaces and between the projections. The first coil spring is continually compressed by the relative rotation of the drive and driven plates and the second coil spring having a greater spring constant than that of the first coil spring is compressed after the first coil spring has been compressed in a predetermined value.
