Abstract:
An object is to both provide a tire that is formed from a resin material, and in particular a thermoplastic material, and to also suppresses incorporation of air, raising durability. A tire 10 includes: a ring shaped tire case 23 formed from a resin material; a reinforcement cord 26 having a higher rigidity that that of the resin material, wound in a spiral shape on the outer peripheral section of the tire case 23 and having at least a portion of the reinforcement cord 26 embedded in and making close contact with the outer peripheral section of the tire case 23 when viewed in a cross-section along the axial direction of the tire case 23; and a tread 30 provided on the radial direction outside of a reinforcement cord layer 28 formed by the reinforcement cord 26. Accordingly air can be suppressed from being incorporated and durability can be raised.

Abstract:
Provided is a tire having a circular tire frame formed of at least a thermoplastic resin material, in which the tire includes a reinforcing cord member that forms a reinforcing cord layer on an outer circumference of the tire frame, and the thermoplastic resin material contains at least a polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer.
Abstract:
Adhesiveness between the tread member and a tire frame member is raised whilst reducing the volume of a tread member and decreasing rolling resistance.Air holes (18) are formed penetrating through to an opposite side from a ground contact face (12) at bottom portions (16A) of lateral main grooves (16) (grooves) of a tread member (10), such that air between the tread member (10) and a tire frame member (24) is expelled smoothly into the lateral main grooves (16) (grooves) through the air holes (18) when adhering the tread member (10) to the tire frame member (24). This is particularly effective when a gauge (G) at the bottom portions (16A) of the lateral main grooves (16) (grooves) is made thin in order to reduce the volume of the tread member (10).
Abstract:
A tire is provided suppressing air incorporation and raising durability without a detrimental effect on running performance.A tire 10 includes a ring shaped tire case 17 formed from a frame resin material, with a reinforcement layer 28 formed by winding and joining a covered cord member 26, formed by a cord resin material 27 covering a reinforcement cord 26A, on a crown section 16 portion of the tire case 17. Accordingly air incorporation is suppressed and durability is raised without a detrimental effect on running performance.
Abstract:
Sufficient strength of a joint portion is secured in a tire configured by joining together plural tire structuring members formed from a thermoplastic material.A welding thermoplastic material 43 that has been melted is extruded towards joining locations on two tire halves 17A formed from a first thermoplastic material that have been aligned so as to face each other and abut, such that the one tire half 17A and the other tire half 17A are welded together with the welding thermoplastic material 43. Degradation of the thermoplastic material forming the tire halves 17A is suppressed since the tire halves 17A are not themselves melted, and sufficient strength of the joint portion is secured.
Abstract:
An object of the invention is to provide an elastomer composition containing a substance as an alternative raw material for an elastomer component, which is low in environmental load and capable of being produced at low cost, and a tire using the elastomer composition. Here, the elastomer composition and the tire of the invention are characterized in containing residuum generated in a fermentative treatment of an organic matter in an elastomer component. In addition, as the above fermentative treatment, an anaerobic fermentative treatment or an aerobic fermentative treatment can be used.

Abstract:
In a tire constituted with a thermoplastic material and a material different from the thermoplastic material, the thermoplastic material and the material different from the thermoplastic material are easily and efficiently separated. While a tire 10 formed of a thermoplastic material is being turned, heated air is ejected from a nozzle 46 of a heating apparatus 44, and the surface of a crown portion 16 is melted. An end portion of a cord 26 embedded in a helical arrangement, which is formed of a material different from the thermoplastic material, is extracted from the melted region, and is sequentially wound onto a reel 58.
Abstract:
To reduce the manufacturing cost of a tire that uses a thermoplastic material for a tire frame member.A tire manufacturing method includes: using a thermoplastic material to form a tire frame member (12); disposing cushion rubber (14) (unvulcanized rubber) on an outer peripheral surface of the tire frame member (12); further disposing vulcanized or semi-vulcanized tread rubber (16) on a tire diameter direction outer side of the cushion rubber (14); covering the tread rubber (16), the cushion rubber (14), and at least the tread rubber (16) side of the tire frame member (12) in an envelope, so as to push the tread rubber (16) against the tire frame member (12) side, to configure a provisionally assembled article; and accommodating the provisionally assembled article inside a container and heating the inside of the container to perform vulcanization to thereby adhere the tread rubber (16) to the tire frame member (12).
