Abstract: Described are luminescent components with excellent performance and stability. The luminescent components comprise a first element 1 including first luminescent crystals 11 from the class of perovskite crystals, embedded a first polymer P1 and a second element 2 comprising a second solid polymer composition, said second polymer composition optionally comprising second luminescent crystals 12 embedded in a second polymer P2. Polymers P1 and P2 differ and are further specified in the claims. Also described are methods for manufacturing such components and devices comprising such components.

Abstract: The invention provides a lighting device (1000) comprising: —a first light source (110) configured to generate first light source light (111), having a first light source light spectral power distribution, wherein the first light source (110) comprises a laser light source (10), and wherein the first light source light (111) has an optical axis (0); —a first converter material (215), comprising a first luminescent material (210), configured to convert at least part of the first light source light (111) into first luminescent material light (211) having a first luminescent material light spectral power distribution, wherein the first luminescent material light (211) has one or more wavelengths in the green and/or yellow wavelength range; —a second converter material (225), comprising a second luminescent material (220), configured to convert part of the first luminescent material light (211) into second luminescent material light (221) having a second luminescent material light spectral power distribution different from the first luminescent material light spectral power distribution, wherein the second luminescent material light (221) has one or more wavelengths in the orange and/or red wavelength range; wherein the first light source (110), the first converter material (215), and the second converter material (225) are configured such that first light source light (111) can only reach the second converter material (225) after scattering via the first converter material (215); wherein the optical axis (O) is incident on the first converter material (215) and is not incident on the second converter material (225); and —a first thermally conductive element (410) in thermal contact with at least part of the second luminescent material (220).

Abstract: A foil structure with generation of visible light using LED technology includes a carrier foil and an LED chip for generation of UV light. The LED chip is disposed on the carrier foil and is provided with a light output face for emission of the UV light. Furthermore, the foil structure includes a color reaction layer for conversion of the UV light into the visible light. The color reaction layer is disposed above the LED chip or in a manner laterally offset relative to the LED chip. The color reaction layer is provided with a structuring, so that the UV light emitted from the light output face of the LED chip is not emitted into the surroundings of the foil structure.

Abstract: Provided is a wavelength converting composite member including: a disk-shaped substrate; a first wavelength converting member provided on the substrate and containing a first phosphor that radiates fluorescence due to a parity-forbidden transition; and a second wavelength converting member provided on the substrate and containing a second phosphor that radiates fluorescence due to a parity-allowed transition. Abstract: A light emitting device including a bulb having a side surface, a board elongated longer in a first direction than in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a plurality of light emitting elements mounted on the board. Each of the plurality of light emitting elements has an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface, where the lower surface is mounted on the board. The device includes a plurality of sets of metal plates and leads electrically connected to the plurality of light emitting elements, and a wavelength conversion member covering the light emitting elements and a portion of each of the metal plates. The board, the light emitting elements, the sets of metal plates and leads, and the wavelength conversion member are disposed in the bulb. The upper surface of each of the light emitting elements faces the side surface of the bulb.
