The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of an asphalt mix composition, said process comprising: (1) providing an asphalt composition and heating said composition to a temperature in the range of from 110 to 200° C.; (2) providing a granular material and heating said material to a temperature in the range of from 110 to 240° C.; (3) providing one or more thermosetting reactive compounds; (4) adding the one or more thermosetting reactive compounds provided in (3) to the asphalt composition obtained in (1) and homogenizing the mixture for a duration in the range of from 2 to 180 s; (5) adding the mixture obtained in (4) to the granular material obtained in (2) and homogenizing the slurry for a duration in the range of from 5 to 180 s. A method of making a metal organic framework (MOF)-polymer composite material includes forming a homogeneous solution comprising a solvent, a metal salt, a polymer which is soluble in the solvent, and a reactant which can be synthesized to provide an organic linker during formation of a MOF structure, synthesizing the homogeneous solution to crystallize a MOF structure in the homogenous solution to yield the MOF structure distributed in a remainder solution, applying an antisolvent to the remainder solution with the MOF structure distributed in the remainder solution to form a polymer-rich phase, where the MOF structure is integrated into the polymer matrix during forming of the polymer matrix to produce a MOF-polymer composite material. The MOF-polymer composite material can be formed on a substrate to produce a MOF structured object, which can be a membrane, film, or other object.

The compositions provide articles with low haze, high luminous transmittance, and good hydro-aging properties. Disclosed is a thermosetting resin composition of excellent low-temperature curability comprising an oxetane compound and also disclosed is a cured article obtained therefrom. The thermosetting resin composition comprises an oxetane compound (A) containing two or more oxetane functional groups in the molecule represented by the following general formula (1) and a heteropolyacid (B) as essential components. A cured article obtained by heat curing of this composition shows excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties, adhesive properties, resustance to heat, moisture, and chemicals, and the like. The compositions of this invention comprise uncrosslinked reaction mixtures comprising (1) at least one organic monomer, oligomer or polymer comprising a multiplicity of organic, electrophilic substituents, and (2) at least one metal-containing polymer comprising a metal-nitrogen polymer.Preferred compositions of this invention comprise reaction mixtures comprising (1) at least one organic monomer, oligomer or polymer comprising a multiplicity of organic, electrophilic substituents, and (2) at least one of: silicon-nitrogen polymers, aluminum-nitrogen polymers and boron-nitrogen and polymer combinations thereof comprising a multiplicity of sequentially bonded repeat units the compositions comprising the reaction products of the reaction mixtures, and the compositions obtained by crosslinking the reaction products of the reaction mixtures. The crosslinking may be effected through at least one of thermal-based, radiation-based free radical-based or ionic-based crosslinking mechanisms. Furthermore, the reaction mixtures, the composition comprising the reaction products and the crosslinked composition may further comprise at least one filler or reinforcement. The composition may be molded or shaped by various techniques into numerous useful articles. Furthermore, the compositions may be applied as coatings by various techniques onto numerous articles to enhance the articles usefulness.
