    摘要: To provide a laminate having characteristics of a fluorinated polymer film such as weather resistance and stain resistance, and having an increased solar reflectance by a light reflection layer, wherein the solar reflectance is less likely to decrease over a long period of time, and the light reflection layer is less likely to delaminate; and a production process thereof.A laminate 1 comprising a substrate 10 containing a first fluorinated polymer, a light reflection layer 12 made of a non-curable resin composition containing a second fluorinated polymer and an aluminum pigment, and a protective layer 14 obtained by curing a curable resin composition containing a third fluorinated polymer having a crosslinkable group and a curing agent for curing the third fluorinated polymer, wherein the light reflection layer 12 is disposed between the substrate 10 and the protective layer 14, the light reflection layer 12 has a thickness of from 0.5 to 5 μm, and the protective layer 14 has a thickness of from 0.3 to 2 μm.

    摘要: This invention provides durable, low-ice-adhesion coatings with excellent ice-adhesion reduction. Some variations provide a low-ice-adhesion composition comprising a composite material containing at least a first-material phase and a second-material phase that are nanophase-separated on a length scale from 10 nanometers to less than 100 nanometers, wherein the first-material phase and the second-material phase further are microphase-separated on a length scale from 0.1 microns to 100 microns. The larger length scale of separation is driven by an emulsion process, which provides microphase separation that is in addition to classic molecular-level phase separation. The composite material has a glass-transition temperature above −80° C. The coatings may be characterized by an AMIL Centrifuge Ice Adhesion Reduction Factor up to 100 or more. These coatings are useful for aerospace surfaces and many other applications.

    摘要: In a first aspect, a liquid fluoropolymer coating composition includes a first fluoropolymer selected from homopolymers and copolymers of vinyl fluoride and homopolymers and copolymers of vinylidene fluoride, a second fluoropolymer including a highly fluorinated fluoropolymer having a fluorine content of at least 60 weight percent, a compatible cross-linkable adhesive polymer, a cross-linking agent and solvent.In a second aspect, a fluoropolymer coated film includes a polymeric substrate film and a fluoropolymer coating on the polymeric substrate film. The fluoropolymer coating includes a first fluoropolymer selected from homopolymers and copolymers of vinyl fluoride and homopolymers and copolymers of vinylidene fluoride, a second fluoropolymer including a highly fluorinated fluoropolymer having a fluorine content of at least 60 weight percent and a compatible cross-linked adhesive polymer including functional groups selected from carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, aziridine, anhydride, amine, isocyanate, melamine, epoxy, hydroxyl, and combinations thereof.
