摘要: This invention relates to a washable multi-component magnetic floor mat with a hidden base component. The floor mat contains a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The present invention eliminates the need to wash the base component of the floor mat which results in environmental, cost and labor conservation. Alignment and deployment of the textile component with the base component in an efficient manner is also described herein.

The tank defines a cavity for holding fluids, and an outer surface of the tank includes a first visual characteristic. The coating includes an indicator layer, an outer layer, and a first intermediate layer. The indicator layer is disposed on the outer surface, the indicator layer including a second visual characteristic that visually contrasts with the first visual characteristic. The outer layer is disposed over the indicator layer, the outer layer including a third visual characteristic that visually contrasts with the second visual characteristic. The first intermediate layer is positioned between the indicator layer and the outer layer, the first intermediate layer being visually transparent or translucent. The disclosure also describes a coating including an indicator layer, an outer layer, and a first intermediate layer.

摘要: This invention provides a molded fastener part having a good heat-bondability to PET resin film and being excellent in flexibility and sealability, comprising a substrate layer, a fastening rail layer comprising a polyolefin resin and having a groove portion or a rib portion, and an adhesive layer located therebetween, wherein said substrate layer is made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of polyethylene terephthalate, 0.1-3 parts by weight of styrene-methyl (metha) acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate copolymer, 3-20 parts by weight of softening agent, and 0.05-1.5 parts by weight of molding assistant, and said adhesive layer comprises a copolymer of ethylene and a monomer containing epoxy group, or a copolymer of ethylene, (metha) acrylate ester and a dicarboxylic anhydride monomer.

摘要: An ionomeric nanocomposite that includes a base component of a propylene-based polyolefin-metal salt component and a nanostructured material. Optionally, the blend further contains a polymeric component including an ethylene ionomer, a styrenic block ionomer, a hydrogenated styrene-butadiene random copolymer, or a combination thereof. Such ionomeric nanocomposites have increased scratch and mar resistance while still retaining clarity and thermal stability. Methods of preparing such blends, as well as resultant articles including such blends, are also part of the invention.

摘要: A resin-coated metal sheet for can lids includes a metal sheet coated with thermoplastic resin films on both surfaces and formed into a can lid. A thermoplastic resin film A based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is heat-fused on a surface of the metal sheet serving as an exterior surface of the can lid, and a thermoplastic resin film B based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is heat-fused on a surface of the metal sheet serving as an interior surface of the can lid. A composition ratio (wt %) of PBT/PET in the thermoplastic resin film A on the exterior surface is (PBT/PET)=(40/60) to (80/20), and the thermoplastic resin film B on the interior surface includes 95 mol % or more of PET.

摘要: The invention relates to an at least three-layer biaxially oriented polyester film including at least one base layer B, one rough outer layer A and one smooth outer layer C, where the layers A and C are external layers arranged on opposing surfaces of the base layer B. The outer layer A includes calcium carbonate particles. The outer layer C includes less than 0.1% by weight of particles (where the percentage by weight data are based on the weight of the layer). The polyester used to produce all of the layers includes no 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic-acid-derived units as repeating units. The entire film includes less than 0.3% by weight (based on the weight of the entire film) of particles. The invention further relates to processes for producing the film, and also to use of the latter as process film for the provision of surface properties, in particular for furniture surfaces.

摘要: A method of using a multi-layer biocidal structure includes providing a multi-layer biocidal structure that includes a support and a structured bi-layer on or over the support. The structured bi-layer includes a first cured layer including dispersed multiple biocidal particles on or over the support and a second cured layer on or over the first cured layer on a side of the first cured layer opposite the support. The multiple biocidal particles are dispersed within only the first curable layer. The structured bi-layer has at least one depth greater than the thickness of the second layer. The multi-layer biocidal structure is located on a surface.
